    Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for automatically shutting off fluid flow through a fluid inlet line of a water heater upon detection of a leak of the water heater. The system may include an electrically powered shutoff assembly operatively coupled to the fluid inlet line, and a capacitor operatively coupled to the electrically powered shutoff assembly. The electrically powered shutoff assembly may be configured to shut off fluid flow through the fluid inlet line upon detection of a leak of the water heater, and the capacitor may be configured to store power received from an external power source. Accordingly, when the electrically powered shutoff assembly does not have access to electric power, the capacitor may power the electrically powered shutoff assembly to shut off fluid flow through the fluid inlet line.

A shared object service may be associated with a plurality of shared objects. A plurality of user accounts and/or client devices may be granted access to a shared object. Each client device that accesses the shared object may store a distributed data structure locally that corresponds to the shared object. When client devices perform operations associated with the shared object the operations are logged by the shared object service and timestamped. Those operations are then reported to the client devices, where cursor movements can be rendered in real time. If cursor movements and/or user input device operations associated with a cursor meet conditions for a gesture operation the cursor may be transformed to a gesture/animation and rendered on canvases of each connected client device.

The image data is indicative of a surrounding position nearby the device position. The surrounding position is selected from an image captured by a camera of the mobile computing device. A requested vehicle position (e.g., a pick-up or drop-off location) is set for a trip of the user in the autonomous vehicle based on the geographic location data and the image data. A route from a current vehicle position of the autonomous vehicle to the requested vehicle position for the trip of the user in the autonomous vehicle is generated. Moreover, the autonomous vehicle can follow the route to the requested vehicle position.

For example, in certain implementations, the light diffusing layer is disposed between a plurality of high intensity light emitting diodes (LEDs) and an outer lens, and the light diffusing layer causes the light from the LEDs to appear as a continuous stream of light across a length of the lens and provides sufficiently bright lighting to warn or communicate with the driver in various ambient lighting conditions. In certain implementations, the outer lens is colored to blend in with the rest of the steering wheel when the LEDs are not activated.
