    Abstract: A doll or animal has either an interior compartment or a back pack which contains an audio device having a recorder to record sounds and a sound player to play the sounds recorded. A tape player is also provided to permit a plurality of separate recorded tapes or the like for playing prerecorded messages, stories, or songs. A source of power such as a battery is used to provide power to the various components. A control switch is used to provide a master control over all of the components.
