    Abstract: A computer system, method, and non-transitory computer-readable medium are provided. A request including unauthenticated data is created and securely transmitted to a remote device, metadata corresponding to the request is updated to indicate successful validation, a response file is validated, and a discrepancy is detected between the unauthenticated data and the authenticated data. Correction data is obtained, and a transaction based on the request and the correction data is executed. A second processor of the remote device verifies that an unauthorized user has not modified the authenticated data, generates a database table based on one or more fields of the authenticated data, extracts one or more predetermined data values from the authenticated data and the database table, and validates the unauthenticated data in the request based on comparing the one or more predetermined data values from the authenticated data and the database table to the unauthenticated data in the request.

    Abstract: A document management system circulates documents to users, protects the documents, including intermediate drafts and versions, and ensures retention for compliance and business continuity. The system comprises a backup infrastructure that protects incoming documents, which are converted into a secure backup format and stored in an object store, which is content-indexed. The backup format is typically encrypted and access to the object store is controlled by the backup infrastructure, thus ensuring that documents entering the system cannot be lost or irretrievably changed by users. When a workflow in the system needs a document, the backup infrastructure restores it and presents it in its original native document format. The system includes workflows for sweeping in associated information and documents that were created outside the system's workflows, e.g., emails, scans, attachments, etc., which become associated with the original document and which are also stored and protected in the object store.

    Abstract: Lithiated haloarenes, although useful as intermediates in the synthesis of various end products, can be hazardous to prepare since unstable, shock sensitive compounds can be formed during lithiation of haloarenes. To avoid this problem, a reaction of a polyhaloarene with a hydrocarbyl lithium compound is conducted in the presence of another reactant so that the lithiated haloarene, if formed at all, exists as a transitory intermediate in low concentration. In this way, transitory lithiated haloarene which may be, and presumably is, formed in the reaction is converted into a non-hazardous functionally-substituted haloarene essentially as soon as such lithiated haloarene is formed. Thus, an arene having a halogen atom of atomic number greater than 9 substituted on at least two non-adjacent carbon atoms is concurrently reacted with a non-fluoro halotrihydrocarbylsilane and a hydrocarbyl lithium compound, in proportions such that a haloarene having at least one trihydrocarbylsilyl ring substituent is formed.
