Abstract: This document presents a system and method for defining and controlling lights, audio systems, and any other home automation device by connection with an exterior network access port. The exterior network access is accomplished by pairing all network capable devices with a known intermediate network maintained by a master control unit. After association with the known intermediate network, the exterior network SSID and passkey are provided to the master control unit and then transmitted to each network capable device. Action sequences to control devices installed with the system may begin operation upon completion of the network association.

Abstract: A method for processing microscopy images captures, for each of a first microscopy slide and a second microscopy slide, a plurality of partial spectrum images under multiple optical configurations where each image captures a different portion of the spectrum of the slide. First and second partial spectrum images associated with different optical configuration are selected and used to reconstruct respectively a combined spectrum image of part of the first microscopy slide and a combined spectrum image of at least part of the second microscopy slide, thereby forming a first pair of partial spectrum images. The method determines a distortion map by aligning images derived from the first pair of the partial spectrum images.

Action groups may be defined to serve as a single point of control for all devices assigned to a control button such that selection of the control button toggles on or off all lights and devices assigned to the action group. Action groups may be defined for locations that are in communication with a master control unit and do not have to be electrically connected to the master control unit. Multiple action groups may be defined and activated through a single master control unit.
