  • Patent number: 6672348
Abstract: A portable saw table for supporting a portable saw. The portable saw table has a base supporting a plate slidably mountable thereon, and the portable saw is attached to the plate. An adjustable work support is mounted on the base adjacent the plate, and an extendable work support is slidably mounted with respect to the base. Linear guides mounted between the base and the plate properly locate the plate with respect to the adjustable work support, thereby permitting a saw fence to be aligned with a vertical guide surface on the adjustable work support. A locking device is used to secure the plate at its aligned position. The adjustable work support is movable lengthwise to align a horizontal work surface immediately adjacent a saw table, and the adjustable work support is also movable in a vertical direction so that it is coplanar with the saw table. The extendable work support is movable in three mutually perpendicular directions to align it with the adjustable work support.

  • Patent number: 6382594
Abstract: The improved hydraulically operated post pulling apparatus is adapted to be mounted on a vehicle such as a skid steer mover. The post puller apparatus includes a support frame adapted to be mounted on the vehicle. The support frame includes a number of base member brackets that attach a base member or base plate to the support frame. The base member includes a post receiving recess that is adapted to receive a post from the side rather than the top. The post pulling apparatus also includes a top support plate that includes a post receiving indent, which also is adapted to receive a post from the side rather than the top. A rotating jaw member having a member of post-engaging teeth is pivotally mounted next to the post receiving indent on the top support plate. Opposite the rotating jaw member, a fixed jaw member is attached to the top support plate that includes a number of post-engaging faces.

  • Patent number: 6315056
Abstract: The resilient scraping blade attachment is provided that includes an attachment hook-up assembly adapted to be mounted on a vehicle. The attachment hook-up assembly includes an elongated central support member and a vehicle interface component. In addition, the attachment hook-up assembly includes a pair of diagonal supports that link the central support member to the vehicle interface component. A mounting plate is secured at an end of the central support member. A resilient blade assembly is attached to the attachment hook-up assembly by means of a bearing bracket and bearing means. The resilient blade assembly includes an elongated blade mounting channel having a pair of resilient blades mounted thereon. The resilient blade assembly includes extension blades that may be mounted at the ends of the blade mounting channel in order to increase the effective width of the resilient blade assembly. The extension blades may be contoured to approximate different surfaces such as a roadside curb.

  • Patent number: 5226187
Abstract: A foot section for a birthing bed has a central panel and two lateral plates that function, in an inclined attitude, as footrests and in a vertical attitude as posts for receiving calf supports. The calf supports are stored in holsters on the underside of the footrests. The mattress is in three sections, with the outboard sections being hinged to a central section so as to be swung upwardly upon the central section thereby exposing the footrests without having to remove the whole foot section. The central panel can be removed with the mattress and is adapted to be stood on its end for temporary storage, thereby conserving floor space.
