Abstract: A method for detecting defects in battery cells includes receiving an X-Ray radiographic image of a battery cell and segmenting the X-Ray radiographic image into regions of interest using a classifier. The method includes processing the segmented X-Ray radiographic image using the classifier to identify features of the battery cell, detecting whether one or more of the features in the processed X-Ray radiographic image is defective using the classifier, and determining using the classifier whether the battery cell is defective based on whether one or more of the features in the processed X-Ray radiographic image is defective.

Abstract: An overall apparatus including a known manually operated rock crusher which includes at least one bar; wherein an end of the at least one bar is moved manually, and then downwards to cause the crushing of rocks; and further including an assistance device configured to be attached to the at least one bar; and a switch activated by an activation device; wherein in response to activation of the switch by the activation device, the assistance device applies a force to the at least one bar and then the switch is deactivated to move back to an original position and orientation, to thereby crush rocks. The assistance device may further include an air compressor; a piston assembly having a piston rod and a piston housing; wherein the piston rod moves outward from the piston housing to apply force to the at least one bar and then back inward during a downstroke.

Abstract: A method comprising detecting an indication of entering a brand name in a search box from a client machine; responsive to detecting the indication, providing selectable images of categories of products of the brand and selectable product aspects of the products; detecting an indication of the selection of a product category and a product aspect from the client machine; responsive to detecting the indication of the selection of the product category and of the product aspect, providing selectable images of styles of products; and responsive to detecting an indication of the selection of an image of a product style, providing a number of selectable images of at least one product of the selected product category of the brand, the at least one product being of the selected style and aspect. The aspects may include a color selectable as a range of shades of the color.

Abstract: A method and system for creating shopping profiles is provided. The shopping profile includes selected shopping parameters of a user such as size and favorite brands, among others. The system stores a user's shopping profile for a first type of item, and renders the shopping profile to the user at a subsequent log-in of the user. If the user accesses the page of a second type of item, a shopping profile for the second type of item, including the stored selected shopping parameters of the shopping profile for the first type of item, is automatically rendered for the user. A user can also create a plurality of shopping profiles for shopping for different classes of items, for example high priced items and low priced items, with the selected shopping parameters of the first class of items automatically rendered in the shopping profile for the second class of item when it is created.

Abstract: A method and system are provided for ecommerce marketplace users to provide contents for social networking platform integration, such as a user sharing purchases with friends so that the user may show new clothes to friends on a social networking service. Content can be transmitted to a social network server for storing at a message space of a user of the social network server and requesting the user of the social network to provide an opinion about the content. In addition, the content might include an image resembling a paper doll, the paper doll having the capability of having parts electronically superimposed with images of articles of clothing comprising all or part of an outfit. Images of such articles of clothing can be electronically superimposed on the paper doll. The paper doll with images of the articles of clothing can be transmitted to friends on a social network for an opinion or for completion of the outfit.
