  • Publication number: 20170264978
Abstract: The present invention provides a novel wearable sensor module system. According to an embodiment, the novel wearable sensor module system includes a wearable electronic sensor module, a multi-layer conductive fabric at least a magnetic fixture, and at least a metallic fixture, wherein said multi-layer fabric makes contact with the metallic fixtures for providing a stable and durable electronic signal communication with the electronic sensor. The electronic sensor module includes an electronic sensor and an electronic contact magnetic fixture. The multi-layer fabric sensor includes an electrically conductive fabric member, a basic fabric and a semiconductor coated fabric. The electrically conductive fabric member and semiconductor coated fabric are in communication with the metallic fixture and magnetic fixture. Further, the metallic fixture is coated with a durable nano particle coating to provide low resistance electrical contact and additional coating to support washable module.

  • Publication number: 20140364778
Abstract: A fabric based device (100) having features of vibration, heating and/or light emission. The fabric based device comprises layers of fabric (104) and soft, washable power and signal cables (102), which are encapsulated in fabric layers (104). The power and signal cables (102) provide power to the vibration modules (106) and heating layer of fabric (202). Vibration modules (106) are embedded in encasing material (108) and welded onto the fabric layers (104), thus creating a vibrating and heating fabric based device (100).

  • Publication number: 20070285231
Abstract: A security device for use with a textile article is used to detect an open or closed state of a pocket or other enclosure in the article and to provide a warning to the user/wearer of the article. When a moveable closure of the article is moved from a closed configuration to an open configuration (or vice-versa, as the case may be) an electrical circuit is broken (or made) which is detected by an electronic processor. An alarm, such as an audible or visual indication, is then given electronically by the processor in response to the change in configuration.

  • Publication number: 20070278201
Abstract: A flexible garment system which is capable of emitting heat when an electrical current is applied, comprising an electrically insulating fibre rich base structure (4) incorporating an electrically and thermally conductive area (1) and at least two power supply lines (2). The heating element consists of a woven, knitted or non-woven fabric (1) containing fibres that are both electrically and thermally conductive. Two or more fabric-based power supply lines (2) are incorporated to supply the panel with electric current, which are connected to the power supply via suitable electrically conductive fasteners (3).
