    Abstract: The present invention is directed towards an improved detachable head toothbrush which is simply constructed, easy to use, and includes features to promote a proper brushing technique. The handle includes a pair of deformable rigid tangs having outward extensions for engaging a corresponding surface in an interior passage through the bristle cartridge. The handle also includes a series of thumb depressions to assist in positioning the bristles over a tooth.
