  • Patent number: 7882594
Abstract: A handle has at least one holding plate which can be mounted in an opening in a thin wall such as a sheet-metal cabinet door, a head part, such as a flange or turning handle, which covers the rim of the opening of the thin wall on its (outer) side, and a body part which proceeds from the head part and can be pushed through the opening in the thin wall, and a holding part which is carried by the body part, supported on the other (rear) side of the thin wall, and is separate from the body part. According to the invention, the holding part is formed by holding elements which project in a flexible manner from the body part in the direction of its outer surface and whose free end has an inclined surface for supporting the body part on the rim or edge of the opening without play.

  • Publication number: 20110025175
Abstract: A closure for a vending machine, cabinet, or the like including a housing, an elongated rod supported in the housing so as to be rotatable and axially displaceable via a handle. The rod can be received in a rod receptacle, so that the rod can be freely slid axially in and out of this rod receptacle in a releasing rotational position, but cannot be slid out in a locking rotational position. The handle is tiltable around a first axis and is rotatable around a second axis perpendicular to the first axis. A connection joint arm is arranged between the supported ends of the handle and the rod, the two articulation axes of the connection joint arm being arranged parallel to the bearing axis of the handle such that the rod is displaced axially when the handle is tilted around the bearing axis of the handle.

Abstract: An adapter for the articulation of a bar (such as a lock bar of a bar closure) at a lever (such as an actuating lever of the bar closure), including a connection piece with an articulation eyelet at one end and a receiving cavity for the end of the bar at the other end. A clamping device, which extends into the cavity, secures the bar in the cavity. The articulation eyelet has a bore hole for forming a securing device, by which the adapter is fitted to a joint bolt which is carried by the drive lever. The joint bolt has an annular groove and is secured either by a retaining ring in the annular groove or, alternatively, by springing tongues proceeding from an edge of the bore hole, these springing tongues being supported in the annular groove of the joint bolt.

  • Publication number: 20100135721
Abstract: A snap fastener which secures a first thin wall with a through-opening. A base part includes a plate which overlaps the longitudinal edges of the through-opening. A head part is provided as a housing with fastening projections such as fastening cams or leaf spring devices having flexible fastening surfaces. The housing is snapped into the through-opening so that it grips only the first thin wall. Unlocking devices are provided in the housing, via which the push elements can be pulled back into the housing from the front, and the housing can be disengaged from the other thin wall (e.g., a wall support). The dimensions between (1) the holding area of the fastening projections and the push members, and (2) the supporting plane of the base part are selected in such a way that, when the push elements are pulled back, the fastening projections lie on the front panel with clearance.
