Abstract: A compensating tank for a cooling circuit of an internal combustion engine has at least one inflow connection and one outflow connection, both of which are connected with the cooling circuit, a chamber system formed in the tank to receive the coolant, such that the individual chambers are at least partially interconnected via openings, and a coolant pipe connected with the inflow connection discharging into one of the chambers in which an impact element is provided for the inflowing coolant. The impact element is configured as a curved guiding wall along which the inflowing coolant is specifically guided. This inhibits, among other things, foaming of the coolant flowing into the compensating tank.

Abstract: A radiator intended for an internal combustion engine or assemblies thereof is installed in an end area of a body of a motor vehicle, especially an automobile, in a space delimited by the outside walls of the body. The outside wall has shape sections that run at angles to one another, to which the radiator is then adapted at least areawise by its outside contour to produce advantageous installation conditions for the radiator.

Abstract: A support is constructed for holding an accessory of an internal combustion engine and for guiding an operating medium of the internal combustion engine. In order to expand the range of applications of the support, it is designed for accommodating several accessories and for guiding cooling liquid from a cylinder housing to a radiator.

Abstract: A disengageable connection between an internal combustion engine and a propeller which serves for the drive of a gyroplane. The disengageable connection is a fluid coupling which includes a controllable oil circulatory system. The fluid coupling is supplied with oil by way of the oil circulatory system during the operation of the internal combustion engine. By contrast, the oil escapes out of the fluid coupling when the propeller operates under auto-rotation.

Abstract: An auxiliary device, for example a water pump, is arranged on a housing wall of an internal combustion engine in such a way that the device is mountable in a simple manner. For this purpose, a drive gear with a pin transversely penetrating a drive shaft is tightened, from one side, and the pump wheel, attached in the drive shaft by means of a screw, is tightened from the other side against the inner race of a ball bearing, the outer race of which is fixed in the housing wall of the internal combustion engine.
