The separator is between the anode and the cathode and the electrolyte includes a hydrophobic, ionic liquid and a lithium salt. The three phases, gaseous air, liquid electrolyte and solid conducting material, are in contact on at least one point of the gas diffusion layer. A method for producing such battery and the use of such battery in a motor vehicle are also provided.
