  • Impact resistant seal for gasoline tank

    Abstract: A resiliently deformable crash resistant seal is provided between an automobile gasoline tank and a filler tube for the tank, wherein the filler tube may freely slide axially with respect to the seal without disrupting the latter or rupturing any fixed connection between the tank, tube and seal.
