  • Patent number: 11583910
Abstract: A rotary stamper includes an upper die plate assembly, a lower die plate assembly, and a support frame having a drive assembly that moves the upper die plate horizontally and vertically along a generally circular pathway while moving the lower die plate along a linear horizontal pathway. The upper die plate is vertically slidably connected to the lower die plate by way of one or more vertical rods that extend from the lower die plate assembly up through the upper die plate. In operation, the lower die plate matches the horizontal movements of the upper die plate as the latter is moved along its circular pathway. Concurrently, the upper die plate moves towards and away from the lower die plate. This maintains a substantially constant alignment between the die plates for carrying out a periodic machining operation on a moving web of material passing there between.

  • Patent number: 8147391
Abstract: An exercise bar for motocross muscle development. One embodiment has a bar and a special rocker member for use on floor exercises. A second embodiment has a spring-loaded pivot hub. That embodiment also has folding handgrips that make the device easy to story and carry. Both embodiments have handgrip eyes that can support the ends of the bar for a number of different exercises. Both embodiments have an eye that can support the handlebar as well. A sliding hook can be used to can carry weights and can act as a support when the device is used on a floor. The rocker member is an important feature that allows a user to do intensive push-up type exercises using the bar.

  • Patent number: 5690011
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, an apparatus is provided for cutting a workpiece moving in a predetermined path relative to a support. The apparatus includes a carriage and linear bearings for mounting the carriage to a support for movement relative to the support to follow movement of the workpiece as it moves in a predetermined path. A clamp is provided on the carriage for clamping the workpiece to the carriage, the clamp having an open position and a closed position. A scarf cutter movable between a first position and a second position is also provided on the carriage for making a scarf cut in the workpiece.

  • Patent number: 4129273
Abstract: A kite control mechanism arranged to control a plurality of kite-flying lines. The mechanism includes a pair of spools mounted in a frame by a control shaft having an associated manually operable handle. The kite-flying lines extend outwardly from the spools through elongated slots in the frame and a leverage handle is mounted to the frame for supporting the mechanism during use. The spools may be driven from the mounting shaft by a key thereon selectively engaging keyways in the respective spools so as to permit driving of both spools concurrently or one spool independently of the other when desired. A friction drive device is provided for driving the second spool from the spool being driven by the shaft key so as to permit self-adjusting payout of the kite-flying lines. The second spool may be selectively locked when desired by a manually operable lock device carried on the frame.

  • Patent number: 4015496
Abstract: A tube cutoff apparatus arranged to provide an improved cutoff of a tube avoiding dimpling of the tube. The apparatus includes an improved blade configuration and mechanism for moving the blade in different directions to effect a multistep tube cutoff. In a first step, the tube is chordally notched, and in a second step, the tube is diametrically sliced to provide a dimpleless cutoff.
