Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to techniques for placing and receiving calls via a web-browser interface. In some embodiments communication connection logic may be be executed by a processor component to receive a request to establish a bi-directional communication session between a first endpoint and multiple endpoints via a uniform resource indicator (URI) accessed via a web browser of the first endpoint, identify the second endpoints based on the URI, send a connection request to at least one of the second endpoints, receive a connection acceptance response from at least one of the second endpoints, and establish the bi-directional communication session between the first endpoint and the second endpoints.
