  • Publication number: 20060249958
Abstract: The invention relates to a rotary latch closure with a rotary latch (2) which is mounted on a base plate (1) of a housing or the like in such a way that it can be rotated from a blocking position into a release position and, in the blocking position, uses a fork mouth (5) to keep a locking dog (4) of a mating locking part from being displaced in an opening direction (P2), whereas, in the release position, said locking dog (4) can be displaced in the opening direction (P2). The significant provision is that, when it is displaced between the blocking position and the release position, the rotary latch (2) rotates successively about points of rotation disposed at different locations with respect to the rotary latch.

  • Patent number: 6997488
Abstract: The invention relates to a rotary-latch lock (1) having a rotary latch (6) which is retained in a locked position by a catch (9), and having an actuating member (19) which can be displaced by an electric motor from a starting position into an actuating position and is intended for pivoting the catch (9) into a release position, in which the rotary latch (6) can pivot into an open position. In order to optimize the functioning of the rotary-latch lock, the invention proposes to provide a release member (24) which by means of the rotary latch (6), as the latter rotates into the open position, releases the actuating member (19) for the catch (9) for return displacement into the starting position.

  • Patent number: 6712544
Abstract: A device (1) for connecting first and second components (2, 3) which lie at a spacing from one another by clamping by a spacer (7), which is disposed in a spacing region, and a clamping piece (15) which clamps the two components (2, 3) with respect to one another, the securing actuation of the clamping piece (15) initially displacing the spacer (7) from a spaced position to a bearing position with respect to the second component (3) and then fixing the device to the first component (2) by clamping elements (13) which move into engagement against the wall of an insertion cavity (6) of the first component (2), wherein the spreading elements (13) are associated with the spacer (7).

  • Publication number: 20020159829
Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1) for connecting components (2, 3) by clamping and by means of a spacer (7) which is arranged in the gap and a clamping component (15) which clamps the two components (2, 3) against each other, said components being situated at a distance from one another. The fixing movement of the clamping component (15) results in a displacement of the spacer (7) from a distanced position into a position of rest on the second component (3) and then results in the device being fixed to the first component (2) by means of clamping elements (13) that are brought to rest on the wall of an insertion cavity (6) pertaining to the first component (2). According to the invention, the spreading means (13) are allocated to the spacer (7).

  • Patent number: 6106033
Abstract: A catch hook device for a front hood, or the like, on motor vehicles has a closure hoop and a catch hook, which can be fastened alternatively on the front end of the body of the car or on the front hood. The device holds the front hood in a slit-open position after the opening of the closure by mutual hook engagement. The hook engagement is detachable and can be obtained automatically upon the closing of the hood. In order to optimize the dependability of the closure and to prevent deformations, larger tolerance, etc.

  • Patent number: 6071036
Abstract: A device (1) for holding two structural parts in a spaced relationship with respect to each other, having a spacer for filling the distance between the two structural parts, which spacer has a support part (2) which can be brought into a position fixed in rotation with respect to the second structural part (7) and a rotary drive part (3) which can be displaced axially with respect to the support part (2) by rotation. The support part (2) and rotary drive part (3) rest on a helical engagement surface (14, 17) which has a slope which is opposite the slope of a thread of a screw (11) which, upon being screwed into an axial opening (15) in the rotary drive part (3) carries the latter therealong.

  • Patent number: 6019424
Abstract: A headrest (23) which pivots forward, by lever action, as a result of the mass of the upper body of a vehicle occupant acting on a pressure-bearing surface in the event of an impact from the rear. In order that in case of both a rear-end crash and a head-on crash of the vehicle, the headrest (23) follows the head of an individual sitting on the vehicle seat, the headrest (23) is positioned on a headrest carrier (17) which can be pivoted out of the backrest (3) in the forward direction and can be pivoted outward about a pin (19), this pin being located at a lower level than that of the pivot pin (21) of the headrest (23).
