Abstract: A rear door assembly includes a vehicle body structure, a rear door and a four-bar linkage assembly. The vehicle body structure has a roof structure and a side wall defining a rear door opening. The four-bar linkage assembly supports the rear door for movement between open and closed orientations. The four-bar linkage includes a rearward member, a support bracket and a forward member. A first end of the rearward member is pivotally attached to an upright portion of the side wall and a second end attached to the rear door. A rearward end of the support bracket is fixed to the roof structure and is cantilevered therefrom. The forward member has a first end attached to the rearward end of the support bracket and a second end attached to the rear door inboard of the rearward member. The first end of the rearward member is outboard of the support bracket.

Abstract: The present invention is an adjustable multi-purpose lifting apparatus for lifting ties, logs and the like. This invention consists of a fulcrum member having a lever handle integrally attached to a rotational gripping clamp and a second and opposing static gripping clamp connected by a telescopic horizontal structural member, such that when a workman places the tie, log or other object between the gripping clamps and exerts an upward lifting force, the apparatus automatically closes tightly against an outside surface of the tie, log or other object for easy and safe lifting and transportation. A button spring mechanism allows the telescopic horizontal structural member to vary its length and to lock onto a given width of the tie, log or other object. A release grip allows the load to be readily disengaged.

Abstract: A multiple hitch apparatus consisting of a drawbar plate and rotating plate mounted thereon, designed to accommodate various sized hitch balls, a pintle hook and an auxiliary hitching apparatus for connecting a motor vehicle to a load. This multiple hitch apparatus may be used with a variety of trucks and motor vehicles to connect most trailers and other types of loads currently in existence. The pintle hook makes this multiple hitch apparatus applicable to heavier industrial and commercial loads.
