    Abstract: An index tab and associated clip for releasable positioning about the periphery of sheet material. The tab provides a folded sheet-like body portion to releasably accept a retentently deformable paper clip to position the device about the periphery of a sheet-like element with the tab portion protruding substantially normally to the sheet periphery and the body portion extending on both sides of the sheet, between it and the paper clip. The protruding tab may be premarked or marked by a user.
