  • Publication number: 20160197198
Abstract: A method of evaluating a thin-film transistor (TFT) which is disposed on a substrate, and includes at least: an oxide semiconductor layer which functions as a channel layer; and a channel protection layer disposed above the oxide semiconductor layer. The method includes: measuring a change in a reflectance of a microwave emitted to the oxide semiconductor layer while the oxide semiconductor layer is irradiated with excitation light by pulse irradiation; calculating a decay period which is a period of time taken for the reflectance to decay to 1/e or 1/e2, based on the change in the reflectance obtained in the measuring; and performing determination related to a threshold voltage of the oxide semiconductor layer, based on the decay period calculated in the calculating.

  • Publication number: 20160187216
Abstract: A detector provided on a flat portion of a diaphragm includes a plurality of strain gauges, resistor element connectors connecting adjacent ones of the strain gauges, and an electric conductor covering a part of the resistor element connectors. First linear portions and second linear portions of the resistor element connectors exposed from the electric conductor are orthogonal to the edges of the electric conductor extending across the first linear portions and the second linear portions. Even when a pattern of the resistor element connector and a pattern of electric conductor are misaligned in X direction or in Y direction, an area of the resistor element connector exposed from the electric conductor does not change.

  • Publication number: 20120040584
Abstract: A method for producing a plasma display panel including a base layer containing a metal oxide, and aggregated particles dispersed on the base layer includes the following process. The front plate having a protective layer is fired in an atmosphere containing at least one selected from a group consisting of a nitrogen gas, a mixture gas of nitrogen and oxygen, and a rare gas, and a water molecule. Then, a film of a water molecule or hydroxide is formed on a surface of the protective layer at a lowered temperature in the above atmosphere. Then, the front plate having the film, and the rear plate are oppositely arranged. Then, the film is removed from the protective layer, and the water molecule is exhausted from the discharge space by heating the oppositely arranged front plate and rear plate. Then, the front plate having no film and the rear plate are sealed.

  • Publication number: 20110178008
Abstract: The present inventors focused on certain nutritional compositions known to have activity of controlling blood glucose levels. These foods were administered to rats for long periods, and real-time PCR was used to analyze the expression of genes associated with lipid metabolism in the liver and adipose tissues. As a result, the present inventors found that the expression of the PPAR? gene is enhanced by these foods, and that this is accompanied by suppressed expression of fatty acid synthase and enhanced expression of a group of PPAR? target genes associated with fatty acid metabolism. The present inventors also confirmed the effect of these foods in enhancing the expression of PPAR? and adiponectin, and discovered that these foods have the activity of enhancing the production of PPAR and PPAR-associated factors.

  • Patent number: 7255611
Abstract: A connector having a compact engagement structure providing a high retaining force is provided. A shoulder is provided on an inner wall of a housing for storing a contact. The shoulder is inclined so that a distal end thereof projects toward a first end of the housing with respect to a proximal end thereof. An engaging piece which engages the shoulder is provided on an engaging portion of a contact body. An inner edge of a distal end of the engaging piece is chamfered. The contact is inserted into a storage chamber of the housing from a second end of the housing, and the engaging piece smoothly lifts from the distal end of the shoulder to the proximal end.
