  • Patent number: 10018602
Abstract: A number of analytes are divided into groups based on at least either the elution position determined by silica gel column chromatography under the same condition or the partition ratio in a hexane-acetonitrile partition method. To each group, a compound obtained by labeling one of the compounds in the group by deuterium and/or carbon is assigned as the surrogate. After those surrogates are added as internal standard substances to a standard sample for the creation of calibration curves, a GC/MS analysis for the sample is performed and a calibration curve is created for each analyte. In the measurement of an unknown sample, the same set of surrogates are added to the sample and the GC/MS analysis is performed. A quantitative determination processor determines the quantity of each analyte by comparing a peak area ratio calculated from the analysis result with a calibration curve read from the database.

  • Patent number: 5846040
Abstract: A pin grommet includes a male member that has a head and a shaft that extends integrally from the head, and a female member that has a flange in which a through hole is formed for insertion of the shaft, and a plurality of resilient members around the through hole extending from the flange. A resilient seal is provided on the side of the male member head on which the shaft is located, and another resilient seal is disposed on the side of the female member flange on which the resilient members are located. The resilient members on the female portion are splayed outward by insertion of the male member shaft into the female member through hole, thereby holding the male member in engagement with the female member.

  • Patent number: 5722703
Abstract: A pop-up mechanism is formed of a main frame, supporting poles rotatably coupled to the main frame, an elevating member rotatably attached to the supporting poles, an urging device for urging the supporting poles to rotate in a stand-up direction, and a locking device for locking the elevating member in a pop-up state and in a folded state. The locking device includes a locking piece slidably attached to the elevating member and having a lock releasing projection and a locking hole; a locking member rotatably attached to one of the supporting poles and having a locking pawl; and a locking projection projecting from the main frame. The locking projection is engaged with a locking hole of the locking piece to lock in the folded state, and the locking pawl of the locking member is engaged with a locking dent formed in the elevating member to lock in the pop-up state. When the locking piece is pushed, the locking conditions in the folded state and the pop-up state are released.

  • Patent number: 5704753
Abstract: A connecting device of the invention is used to connect two members together. The connecting device is formed of a base flange, a support column extending downwardly from the base flange, and elastically deformable engaging members formed at both lateral sides of the support column and projecting from the base flange. The support column has first and second side edges, and the lateral sides extending between the first and second side edges. The distance between the first and second side edges is greater than that between the lateral sides. The first side edge is cut diagonally from a longitudinal middle portion of the support column to a lower end portion of the support column, and the second side edge is cut diagonally from near a top of the support column to the lower end portion. The engaging members have lower ends terminating at and joining with the lower end portion.

  • Patent number: 5573362
Abstract: A clip comprised of a head portion retained to a panel, and a leg portion inserted and retained in a mounting hole. The leg portion has a leg plate, elastic legs which project out from the longitudinally-extending transverse direction sides of the leg plate so as to form curved surfaces which face each other, and pawl portions protruded from the elastic legs. Curved outer surfaces of the pawl portions are disposed on a circular locus around central points on side surfaces of the leg plate, and have a greater curvature than the curvature of the mounting hole. As a result, when the leg portion is inserted into the mounting hole, the entire peripheral surfaces of the pawl portions do not contact the peripheral wall of the mounting hole, but only point-contact the peripheral wall of the mounting hole at points. Therefore, frictional force between the mounting hole and the leg portion is small, and insertion force is reduced.

  • Patent number: 5175883
Abstract: A receiving apparatus according to the present invention comprises a high frequency amplifying circuit for amplifying a signal received from an antenna by a gain in accordance with a control signal, a frequency conversion circuit for converting the output frequency of the high frequency amplifying circuit, a narrow band filter for selectively passing therethrough the intermediate frequency signal components of the output of the frequency conversion circuit, and control signal generating circuit for generating a control signal in accordance with the output level of the frequency conversion circuit. The control signal generating circuit is so constructed that the control signal generating circuit outputs the control signal only when the output signal level of the frequency conversion circuit is higher than a level in accordance with the level of the narrow band filter.

  • Patent number: 5036543
Abstract: A noise component is extracted either from FM-detected output or from the so-called signal meter in the intermediate frequency amplifier. The noise component is amplified and rectified to provide a d-c signal indicative of the noise level. The rectified noise is then shaped to produce a control signal having a predetermined level and a width. The control signal is supplied to the gate circuit to control the opening and closing of the gate through which the FM detected output passes. The gate is closed during a period when the pulse noise is superimposed on the FM detected output, and is opened during a period when the pulse noise is not superimposed to the FM detected output. In the mean time, the rectified d-c signal is smoothed out to be used as a control signal for controlling the stereo separation, the attenuation of high frequency component of the MPX-demodulated audio outputs, and the overall signal level of the audio outputs.

  • Patent number: 4306112
Abstract: A circuit for eliminating pulsating electrical noise in a received and detected signal. A phase-locked loop circuit produces an output signal whose frequency and phase are identical to those of the stereophonic demultiplexer pilot signal of the composite detected signal. The output from the phase-locked loop circuit is subtracted from the pilot signal at a point prior to a switching circuit which disconnects the demodulated signal from the input of a stereophonic demultiplexer when noise is present and a level holding circuit maintains demodulated signal at the level it had immediately prior to its interruption. By completely removing the pilot signal from the composite signal prior to switching without otherwise varying the phase or frequency characteristics of the composite signal, distortions upon switching in the demodulated signal at low levels are eliminated.
