Abstract: An improved method for treatment of a tumor bearing subject comprising administering to said subject a combination of from two to five agents is disclosed. The agents may be agents that mobilize dendritic cells, agents that cause apoptosis and/or necrosis of tumor cells, chemoattractants, agents that stimulate maturation of dendritic cells, and agents that enhance an anti-tumor response of a T cell.

Abstract: A method for treating tumor-bearing subjects that includes administering to the tumor bearing subject a therapeutically effective amount of a CD40 binding protein in conjunction with photodynamic therapy, is disclosed.

Abstract: Methods and composition for HIV diagnosis and treatment using monoclonal antibodies reactive with one or more neutralizing regions of HIV proteins, using the peptides or homologs thereof from that region, and using related nucleic acid segments. Exemplary neutralizing regions include selected portions of the env and gag genes from various HIV isolates. Monoclonal antibody secreting cell lines include HIV-gp110-1, -2, -3, -4, -5 and -6 (A.T.C.C. Accession Nos. HB9175, HB9176, HB9177, HV9405, HB9406 and HB9404, respectively) and HIV-p25-2, -3, -6 and -7 (A.T.C.C. Accession Nos. HB9407, HB9408, HB9409 and HB9410, respectively).

Abstract: Methods and compounds are disclosed for determining the presence, amount of, or association between substances of interest in samples suspected of containing same. The methods are based on the polymerization-induced separation of specifically-bound, reporter-labeled recognition reactants from free, reporter-labeled recognition reactants. The methods described are applicable to any substance for which suitable recognition reactants exist or can be made and are not limited by considerations such as chemical composition or molecular size.
