    Abstract: A detection system for a vehicle in an environment includes a reflective member configured to rotate about a first axis, the reflective member having a plurality of reflective sides. The detection system has a LiDAR system with at least one light transmitter and at least one light receiver. A wedge mirror deflects light between the LiDAR system and the reflective member to change the field of view of the LiDAR system in an elevation direction and in an azimuth direction. The reflective member is positioned such that rotation of the reflective member changes the field of view of the LiDAR system in an azimuth direction.
