Patent number: 10261962Abstract: A method for organizing images from multiple image capture devices includes automatically determining a coarse offset between image capture times recorded in a first image capture device and image capture times recorded in a second image capture device. The coarse offset is determined by a computing a correlation between image counts of images captured by the first image capture device and images captured by the first image capture device. The method also includes adjusting the image capture times of images recorded in the second image capture device by the coarse offset to produce adjusted image capture times for images captured by the second image capture device.Type: GrantFiled: August 31, 2017Date of Patent: April 16, 2019Assignee: Shutterfly, Inc.Inventors: Moshe Bercovich, Alexander M. Kenis, Eran Cohen, Wiley H Wang

Publication number: 20180326115Abstract: A novel fibrinogen-based tissue adhesive patch is disclosed. The patch comprises a backing made from a non-permeable biocompatible polymer film into which a fibrinogen-based sealant is incorporated. In preferred embodiments of the invention, the biocompatible polymer film comprises units of a biocompatible block copolymer such as a polyethylene glycol-polycaprolactone-DL-lactide copolymer connected by urethane linkages, and the fibrinogen-based sealant comprises fibrinogen, thrombin, and CaCl2. In contrast to similar patches known in the art, the polymer backing serves to seal the tissue to which the patch is applied, and the sealant acts only to bind the patch to the affected tissue. The patch does not include any mesh, woven, or non-woven component. Methods of production and use of the patch are also disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 23, 2018Publication date: November 15, 2018Inventors: Orgad LAUB, Daniel COHN, Eran COHEN, Matthew ZAREK

Publication number: 20180303966Abstract: An improved fibrinogen-based tissue sealing patch having a degradation time of less than two weeks is disclosed. The patch comprises a polyethylene glycol-caprolactone-lactide (PEG-CL-LA) triblock copolymer film into which a fibrinogen-based sealant comprising less than 8 mg/cm2 fibrinogen and less than 10 IU/cm2 thrombin has been incorporated. In preferred embodiments, the polymer film comprises PEG having a molecular weight of between 3000 and 3500 and a CL:LA:PEG ratio of 34:2:1. Methods of production and use of the patch are also disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 6, 2016Publication date: October 25, 2018Inventors: Orgad Laub, Eran Cohen, Yotam Schwartz
