  • Patent number: 10796507
Abstract: An image display system includes a first processor, a second processor, and a comparator. The first processor acquires a behavior estimation result of a vehicle, and generates future position information after a predetermined time passes of the vehicle based on the behavior estimation result. The second processor acquires present information about the vehicle, and generates present position information on the vehicle and a peripheral object based on the acquired information. The comparator compares the future position information on the vehicle and the present position information on the vehicle and the peripheral object, and generates present image data indicating present positions of the vehicle and the peripheral object and future image data indicating future positions of the vehicle and the peripheral object. Further, the comparator allows a notification device to display a present image based on the present image data and a future image based on the future image data together.

  • Patent number: 10640129
Abstract: A signal recognition instruction receiving unit receives an instruction to recognize signal information in a traffic signal from an automatic driving control device. A signal information recognizer executes recognition processing for the signal information on an image from a sensor and information from a wireless device when the signal recognition instruction receiving unit receives the instruction. An image output unit outputs, to a notification device, start information indicating that the signal information recognizer starts the recognition processing for the signal information.

  • Publication number: 20190344798
Abstract: An information processing system includes a safe behavior determiner, clustering range controller, and safety determiner. The safe behavior determiner classifies parameter values indicating a travel state of a vehicle into multiple ranges based on travel safety. The safe behavior determiner also determines a safe behavior for the vehicle by which the travel state of the vehicle is adjusted such that the parameter values fall under a safety range with high travel safety. The clustering range controller changes a position of a boundary between the ranges according to an external environment of the vehicle. The safety determiner acquires a behavior estimation result of the vehicle and the safe behavior determined by the safe behavior determiner, and determines behavior control of the vehicle on the basis of at least the acquired behavior estimation result or safe behavior.

  • Publication number: 20190193751
Abstract: A vehicle-mounted interface device includes a receiver and a determiner. The receiver receives an input from a driver who drives a vehicle. On the basis of the input received by the receiver, the determiner determines whether or not the driver is familiar with a route along which the driver is to drive or is driving the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 9495871
Abstract: A display control device causes a display unit to generate a first predetermined image representing a first presentation image that indicates a first speed limit. Change in a speed limit of a road where a vehicle travels from a first speed limit to a second speed limit different from the first speed limit is recognized. When the recognized change in the speed limit indicates decrease, the first predetermined image is switched by a first switching method so that a second predetermined image representing a second presentation image that indicates the second speed limit is generated. When the recognized change in the speed limit indicates increase, the first predetermined image is switched by a second switching method different from the first switching method so that the second predetermined image is generated.

  • Patent number: 9418548
Abstract: A display control device includes a controller that, if an obtainer obtains first-segment speed limit information, controls a displayer so that it creates a first predetermined image, indicating a first-segment speed limit, and displays the first predetermined image on a display medium, and includes a determiner that, if second-segment length information is obtained after the first-segment speed limit information has been obtained, determines whether the second-segment length is shorter than a threshold. The controller makes a switchover from control under which the displayer creates the first predetermined image and displays it on the display medium to control under which the displayer creates a second predetermined image, indicating a second-segment speed limit, and displays the second predetermined image on the display medium in different control ways depending on whether the second-segment length is shorter than the threshold.

  • Publication number: 20100188312
Abstract: A video display device which does not confuse the viewer when the viewer changes the displayed video. The video display device (1) comprises a video processing section (11), a display section (12), and a control section (14). The control section (14) controls the video processing section (11) to display one content for first and second viewers on a display section (12) in a one-screen display mode. When the first viewer operates a button installed for the viewer in the one-screen display mode, the display section (12) displays the displayed content on the first screen for the first viewer and on the second screen for the second viewer in a two-screen display mode. When the first viewer further operates the button installed for the first viewer, the display section (12) displays, in the two-screen display mode a different content on the first screen and the content which has been displayed on the second screen.
