A manual braking force on the pedal causes a longitudinal movement of the piston and displaces a transmitter element integrally joined to the piston. The autonomous brake module causes a movement of an intermediate plate that displaces the transmitter element and the piston, exerting a longitudinal force on the piston in the braking direction. The brake mechanism determines the force in the direction opposite the braking direction using a sensor situated on or in the intermediate plate and/or the transmitter element.

    Abstract: A braking control valve having a housing with at least one bore and a hydraulic piston (12) which slides in the bore to define and inlet chamber and an outlet chamber. The inlet and outlet chambers being sealed from each other by an elastic annular seal (14) which is carried by the piston (12). The inlet and outlet chambers are in communication with each other through a one way valve located in a passage in the piston which is actuated by a tappet. The seal (14) substantially has a rectangular cross section which is filled without axial clearance in a groove (120) in the piston (12). The seal has internal recesses which are exposed to any pressure present in the inlet chamber so as to urge the seal (14) against the bore with a force which varies as the inlet pressure in the inlet chamber.

The shaft of the eccentric bearing interacts with the rotating lever by coaxial cylindrical shaft situated on both sides of the pressure piece.

    Abstract: A disc brake having a caliper (1) which straddles a brake disc (D) and a carrier (2) which is fixed to a vehicle. A cylinder (3) is secured to the caliper and closed by a piston 31. Guides (21a,21b,22a,22b) allow the caliper to slide with respect to the carrier (2) in response to an input to bring first (41) and second (42) friction pads into engagement with the brake disc (D) to effect a brake application. At least one of the first (41) and second (42) friction pads has ears (41a,42a) inserted in corresponding housings in the carrier (2). The housing constitutes guides for each ear which engage a lateral star-shaped spring (52a). The star-shaped spring (52a) provides a recoil which moves the first (41) and second (42) pads away from the brake disc (D) after each braking application.

The lever (32) has a first part (34) fastened onto an end (36) of a sheath of an actuating cable (38). The sheath (40) bearing on an end stop member (42) which is held stationary with respect to the caliper (12). The sheath (40) has an end stop member (42) which is formed on a brace member (44).

    Abstract: A power-assisted steering device having a piston located in a casing and driven by a rotational input from an input shaft. The piston has a sealing section for separating a first chamber from a second chamber and a transmission section. The transmission section having a U-shaped profile formed by two branches which are coplanar with the main axis of the casing. The branches form racks and mesh at respective geometric sites with toothed sectors which are integral with one another and an output shaft. A sleeve located in the U-shaped profile and connected to the piston prevents relative rotation of the piston and sleeve with respect to the main axis of the input shaft while allowing some relative radial translations with respect to the input shaft as the piston is moved in response to a pressure difference in fluids supplied to the first and second chambers to provide assistance in rotating the output shaft in response to an input applied to the input shaft.
