Patent number: 9113759Abstract: A wipes dispenser includes a container having an interior holding a plurality of wipes. A grip orifice provides communication between the interior and the exterior of the container, and the grip orifice serves to prevent wipes from falling back into the interior. The dispenser also includes a rip fence, and a lead end of a lead wipe of the plurality of wet wipes within the container extends through the grip orifice and then through the rip fence such that pulling on the lead end to pull the lead wipe against the rip fence causes the remainder of the lead wipe to be removed from the container and become disassociated with the remaining wipes of the plurality of wipes. As the lead end is pulled against the rip fence, the following wipe of the plurality of wipes is pulled through the grip orifice to provide its lead end outside of the interior of the container, and the grip orifice prevents this lead end of the following wipe from falling back into the interior of the container.Type: GrantFiled: February 19, 2009Date of Patent: August 25, 2015Assignee: GOJO Industries, Inc.Inventors: Eugene W. Publication number: 20150076176Abstract: Exemplary dispensers having non-collapsible containers and venting pumps are disclosed herein. Some exemplary dispensers include a rigid container for holding a liquid and a pump secured to the container. The pump has a liquid pump portion and an air pump portion. The liquid pump portion has a one-way liquid inlet valve, a liquid pump chamber and a liquid outlet valve. Expansion of the liquid chamber causes liquid to flow from the container past the liquid inlet valve into the pump chamber. Compression of the liquid chamber causes liquid to flow from the pump chamber past the liquid outlet valve. In addition, the air pump portion includes an air pump chamber, a piston, a one-way air inlet valve and a filter. Compression of the air pump chamber causes air to flow through the filter and past the one-way air inlet valve into the container.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 12, 2014Publication date: March 19, 2015Applicant: GOJO INDUSTRIES, INC.Inventor: Eugene W. Patent number: 8584906Abstract: A pump head for a displacement pump used in a bottle dispenser and configured to minimize misdirection of solution dispensed through an orifice thereof. The pump head is an integrally molded one piece structure, having an elliptical outlet orifice that lies in a substantially horizontal plane, and having a major axis substantially twice that of the minor axis. The configuration and the positioning of the orifice minimizes clogging or coagulation of certain solutions, obscures such coagulation from view, and minimizes the misdirection of any dispensing through the nozzle orifice that would otherwise result from clogging or coagulation. The pump head is particularly adapted for use with displacement pumps employed in bottle dispensers and the like.Type: GrantFiled: August 31, 2012Date of Patent: November 19, 2013Assignee: GOJO Industries, Inc.Inventors: Weston R. Patent number: 8499982Abstract: Embodiments of foam pumps and refill units for foam dispensers are disclosed herein. An exemplary embodiment of a foam pump includes a housing, a mixing chamber located within the housing, an inlet into the mixing chamber and an outlet valve located downstream of the mixing chamber. In addition, a sealing member movable in a first direction and a second direction is included and provided in the housing, the sealing member being movable in the first direction by pressurized air. The pressurized air causes the sealing member to move in the first direction and open a pathway for pressurized air to travel through the inlet and enter the mixing chamber. Upon a decrease in the air pressure, the sealing member moves in the second direction and closes off the inlet from pressurized air.Type: GrantFiled: August 14, 2012Date of Patent: August 6, 2013Assignee: GOJO Industries, Inc.Inventor: Eugene W.
