Patents by Inventor Eva Kerschensteiner

Eva Kerschensteiner has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Publication number: 20200222157
Abstract: A blank for producing dental prostheses by particularly material-removing processing comprises a tooth element and a jaw element. These elements are preferably differently colored layers of a blank produced from the same material. In order to cover a dividing line between the differently colored regions, a gum element is arranged especially in a recess of the finished dental prosthesis.

  • Patent number: 10449021
Abstract: To produce a dental prosthetic body for an upper or lower jaw prosthesis, a prosthetic preform is provided, the prosthetic preform having approximately the same shape as the prosthetic body. As a result, a high quality prosthetic body can be produced and customized, for example, by milling the prosthetic prebody.

  • Patent number: 10299898
Abstract: A method for preparing a partial or full dental prosthesis comprising 1.1. acquiring a patient's oral situation by taking an impression or by digital recording; 1.2. if required, digitizing the patient's oral situation; 1.3. selecting the teeth forming the dental prosthesis from a library of teeth or groups of teeth to obtain a virtual set-up of the teeth, which is positioned virtually in a space that takes the acquired patient's situation into account; 1.3.1 said library contains designs of dental arches, tooth shapes, tooth sizes 1.3.2 said library contains designs of the gingiva, and 1.3.3 said library contains total set-ups and/or modular set-ups for all of Angle's bite classes; 1.4. if required, modifying the set-up obtained from the library; 1.5. virtually embedding the teeth arranged in the virtual set-up in a virtual gingiva; 1.6 producing the real prosthesis.

  • Publication number: 20190117350
Abstract: A method for defining a dental arrangement for the production of partial or full tooth prosthetics, comprising the steps: determining base points defined by coordinates of a lower jaw and/or an upper jaw; determining a transverse dimension and/or a skeletal class and/or type of bite on the basis of the coordinates determined for the lower jaw and/or the upper jaw, and selecting a suitable dental arrangement on the basis of the transverse dimension determined and/or the skeletal class determined and/or the type of bite determined

  • Publication number: 20160296305
Abstract: Artificial teeth are inserted into a denture base for producing a denture. The artificial teeth have an outer part, which is visible in the inserted state. An inner part is arranged within the denture base in the inserted state. A tooth edge with a change of angle is embodied between the outer part and the inner part. For producing a denture base, cavities are generated in the denture base. In order to be able to produce the cavities with the aid of automated production methods such as CAD/CAM methods, there is a virtual subtraction of the artificial teeth from a virtual denture base. As a result of this, a cavity edge which corresponds to the tooth edge is generated. The cavity edge is used during the production of the cavity by a CAD/CAM method for setting the tool movement.
