The one or more computing devices may be configured to obtain video data captured by one or more cameras. The one or more computing devices may analyze the video data to determine whether there is any trigger event. In response to determining that there is a trigger event, the one or more computing device may determine an optimal robotic surveillance device among the one or more robotic surveillance devices based on the trigger event and provide an instruction to the optimal robotic surveillance device. The optimal robotic surveillance device may be configured to perform a responding action in response to receiving the instruction.

    Abstract: A bot traffic detection system detects scripted network traffic. The bot traffic detection system may use a one-sided unsupervised machine learning technique to estimate distributions for human, non-scripted traffic (clean distributions). The clean distributions may be dynamically updated based on the latest traffic patterns. To estimate the clean distributions the bot traffic detection system may identify, for a certain subset of network traffic, feature values of the certain subset of network traffic that do not include bot traffic (clean buckets). Using clean traffic may provide more robust and stable behavior that can be tracked over time. Using the clean distributions, the bot traffic detection system may generate a rules table that indicates a likelihood that network traffic with a given combination of feature values is scripted network traffic. The bot traffic detection system may apply the rules table in real time to identify scripted network traffic.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for preparing nano-textured surface on single side of a silicon wafer, including the following steps: (1) superimposing two silicon wafers to obtain a first silicon wafer superimposition structure; the side on which the silicon wafers is superimposed is recorded as an attached surface, and the side exposed outside is recorded as an exposed surface; and (2) performing nano-textured surface etching on the first silicon wafer superimposition structure; and providing each silicon wafer with nano-textured surface on the exposed surface and a nano-textured surface etched strip on the edge of the attached surface. In the present disclosure, while the nano-textured surface etching is performed, the edge of the attached surface is etched with nano-textured surface by selecting a specific etching rate, which reduces the pulling force for detaching the wafers and reduces the fragmentation rate during the detaching process.

Processes of the present disclosure can provide glycolipid compositions having one or more of: a ratio of lactonic glycolipids to glycolipid acylic esters is from about 1:10 to about 10:1, a molecular weight of from about 400 g/mol to about 10,000 g/mol, a corrosion rate of carbon steel from about 0.5 MPY to about 100 MPY at room temperature and at pH 4-6. Furthermore, aqueous solutions of the glycolipid compositions of the present disclosure can have a surface tension of from about 20 mN/m to about 80 mN/m.

    Abstract: Provided are methods for diagnosing, monitoring and mitigating microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC). The methods employ steps to determine the nature and concentration of biological signatures, formed through metabolism of microorganisms, and correlating the biological signatures with MIC. Based on such analyses, appropriate MIC mitigation strategies may be implemented so as to efficiently target MIC at sites of interest. The methods advantageously allow selection of appropriate MIC mitigation treatments that correspond to the level of severity of the MIC and based on historical data correlating particular biological signatures with particular MIC risk.

    Abstract: Carbon steels are desirable for many applications due to their hardness and low cost. Susceptibility toward corrosion can complicate the use of carbon steels, and there is presently no ready way to predict susceptibility toward corrosion for a given carbon steel under a particular set of corrosive conditions. Methods for predicting susceptibility toward corrosion and determining the suitability of a carbon steel may comprise: obtaining a group of carbon steel samples, each carbon steel sample having an unknown rate of corrosion and a microstructure; measuring a quantity of carbides within the microstructure of each carbon steel sample having an unknown rate of corrosion; and determining a relative order of susceptibility toward corrosion within the group of carbon steel samples based upon the quantity of carbides within the microstructure of each carbon steel sample.
