Abstract: Methods for determining nitrogen and/or sulfur containing surfactant residual concentrations in oil and/or water phases of an oil and water system, particularly produced oil and water from an oil or gas well, are provided. The methods utilize pyro-chemiluminescence/pyro-fluorescence techniques which quantify the total residual surfactants in both oil and water phases. The methods may be applied broadly in areas where quantifying or monitoring surfactant concentrations in solution is required.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for preparing nano-textured surface on single side of a silicon wafer, including the following steps: (1) superimposing two silicon wafers to obtain a first silicon wafer superimposition structure; the side on which the silicon wafers is superimposed is recorded as an attached surface, and the side exposed outside is recorded as an exposed surface; and (2) performing nano-textured surface etching on the first silicon wafer superimposition structure; and providing each silicon wafer with nano-textured surface on the exposed surface and a nano-textured surface etched strip on the edge of the attached surface. In the present disclosure, while the nano-textured surface etching is performed, the edge of the attached surface is etched with nano-textured surface by selecting a specific etching rate, which reduces the pulling force for detaching the wafers and reduces the fragmentation rate during the detaching process.

Abstract: A method that comprises receiving a logical execution plan for a database query corresponding to a plurality of tables of the database, wherein the logical execution plan comprises one or more operators, receiving an operator cost for each of the operators in the logical execution plan, computing a first accumulated processing cost for a first of the tables based on the logical execution plan, operator selectivity, and operator costs corresponding to the first table, computing a second accumulated processing cost for a second of the tables based on the logical execution plan, operator selectivity, and operator costs corresponding to the second table, comparing the first accumulated processing cost and the second accumulated processing cost to determine a table with the highest accumulated processing cost, and responsive to comparing the accumulated processing costs, computing a physical execution plan that requires partitioning the table with the highest accumulated processing cost.

Abstract: Disclosed is a search ranking method for community users. The method includes: calculating a pre-ranking factor and an offline ranking factor according to historical behavior data of users; performing weighted ranking on inverted indices of the users by taking the pre-ranking factor as a weight, to obtain orderly inverted user index data; and with respect to a logged-in search user, in search results obtained according to the index data, performing weighted calculation on the search results according to the offline ranking factor, to obtain final ranking results. Also disclosed is a search ranking system for community users. The method and system can enable a user to obtain more optimized search ranking results.

Abstract: A method for adaptively building and updating a column store database from a row store database using queries. The method includes establishing the row store database for storing data, wherein at least one row of the row store includes attributes. The method includes establishing the column store including data structured to satisfy received analytic queries, wherein the column store includes attribute vectors corresponding to attributes in the row store, wherein at least one of the attribute vectors includes data used to satisfy previously received analytic queries. The method includes receiving change transactions directed to the row store, wherein the change transactions are ordered. The method includes when a first referenced attribute referenced by an analytic query corresponds to an attribute vector in the column store, updating the attribute vector based on log information corresponding to change transactions directed to the referenced attribute to satisfy the analytic query.

Abstract: A dual card connector includes a holder and a base body. The holder defines two overlapped sliding slots for receiving cards, each sliding slot includes a group of conductive terminal assemblies, the holder includes a plurality of elastic pieces, the elastic pieces are connected to the conductive terminal assemblies. The base body includes at least two groups of connecting terminals. The holder is detachably mounted to the base body, thus the elastic pieces are resisted and electrically connected to the connecting terminals. An electronic device employing the dual card connector is also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for determining and identifying corrosion protective layers that provide corrosion protection against crude oils and crude oil fractions is disclosed. The method identifies naturally occurring constituents in crude oils that indirectly provide corrosion protection. A method assessing the potential of these constituents is also disclosed. The method includes exposing metal coupons with the crude oil or crude fraction of interest at the expected operating temperature of concern. The corrosion potential assessment further analyzes the exposed coupons with transmission electron microscopy and an additional high temperature exposure that challenges the tenacity of the protection offered by the corrosion protective layer.

Abstract: A method of pipelining re-shuffled data of a distributed column oriented relational database management system (RDBMS). A request is received from a consumer process that requires RDBMS column data to be shuffled in a specific order according to an order that each of a plurality of columns will be used by the consumer process. For each of the plurality of columns, the method re-shuffles the RDBMS column data according to the specific order to form re-shuffled RDBMS column data, and sends the re-shuffled RDBMS column data to the consumer process.

Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided for facilitating a marketing interlock between businesses. Two or more businesses may enter into a co-marketing campaign in which a sponsoring entity funds an advertisement of a sponsored entity on a third party advertising system, such as a search engine. Marketing content of the sponsoring entity is inserted on the website of the sponsored entity. Traffic originating on the third party advertising system may therefore first be driven to the sponsored entity's website, and subsequently to the sponsoring entity's website, thereby achieving a mutually beneficial co-marketing relationship. Marketing relationships among complimentary businesses based on provided service and location may also be facilitated according to the methods provided.

The method includes: acquiring search request information submitted by a user and login information of the user; obtaining friend relationship chain data of the user according to the login information of the user; and searching, according to the search request information and the friend relationship chain data of the user, in SNS data to obtain an SNS search result. The apparatus includes: an acquiring module, a sending module, and a searching module. According to the present method, a traditional search engine is combined with an SNS search engine, such that a user is capable of detecting or acquiring his or her friend data, data of users having the same interest and hobby, and high quality data based on user recognition from the SNS, thereby enriching search results.
