    Abstract: A power converter includes an integrated multi-layer cooling structure. The power converter includes a plurality of printed circuit boards (PCBs) stacked together in a generally vertical arrangement. A liquid cooling mechanism is attached to a lower-most PCB, and high loss circuitry components are attached to an opposite side of the lower-most PCB. Low loss circuitry components are attached to further PCBs. Magnetic components may be attached to the further PCBs. The high loss components are actively cooled by the liquid cooling mechanism and the low loss components and magnetic components are passively cooled. The liquid cooling mechanism may be a cold plate heatsink. The power converter may include intermediate PCBs disposed between the upper-most PCB and the lower-most PCB, with low loss circuitry components attached to the intermediate PCBs.

    Abstract: A flat-surfaced, electrically controlled, tunable lens to provide autofocus, optical zoom, optical image stabilization, and similar functionalities is described. A thickness profile of the tunable lens may be modified through a voltage-controlled thin film piezo actuator, for example, a lead-zirconium-titanium oxide (PZT) film. For autofocus and optical zoom features, an entire thickness of the tunable lens may be modified with the thickness being the same across a cross-section area of the tunable lens and opposing surfaces of the tunable lens remaining flat. For optical image stabilization, the thickness profile of the tunable lens may be modified to a tilted profile, where one side of the tunable lens is thinner than the other side with the opposing surfaces of the tunable lens remaining flat. The tilted profile may have an angle between the two plates (surfaces) in a range up to 10 degrees.

    Abstract: Provided is a refined Goss-grain aluminum alloy plate and a preparation method thereof. The refined Goss-grain aluminum alloy plate is prepared by a method including subjecting an Al—Cu—Mg alloy ingot with a certain composition to a homogenizing at a temperature of 470-505° C., a hot rolling at high temperature of 465-495° C. with a large deformation of 80%-98% and a high final temperature, then directly to a cold rolling with a small or medium deformation of 5% to 50%, and then to a recrystallization and annealing treatment at a temperature of 300-450° C., a solid solution treatment at a temperature of 460-505° C., and a natural aging treatment for at least 96 hours.
