    Abstract: A hydraulic machine with oscillating axial cylinders includes a plurality of oscillating axial cylinders, put in synchronous rotation between a first rotating element, a rotating disc, which supports one end of the cylinder, bottom or piston, and a second rotating element, a rotating barrel, which supports the opposite end of the cylinder; each cylinder is connected to said rotating elements with a ball joint towards each of them; each ball joint is holed to allow for the passage and the feeding/discharge through it of the hydraulic liquid. At least the bottom or the piston is connected to the respective rotating element with a ball joint having a spherical surface with a diameter equal to or greater than the cylinder bore.

    Abstract: The hydraulic machine with radial cylinders (3, 4, 5, 6 and 7) comprises pistons (8) with radial stroke, arranged in contact with an outer cam (13) and coplanar with said group of cylinders, each equipped with a roller on the path (12) of said cam, and it has, in each piston (8), a rolling bearing (9, 10, 11), arranged with the inner ring coupled or coinciding with the pin (9) for supporting said roller (10) and the outer ring (10) coupled or coinciding with the roller (10) itself; moreover, it has the roller (10) and the corresponding rolling bearing (9, 10, 11) with a small size such as to also allow, in the alternating motion of the piston (8), introduction steps of said roller in the respective liner of the cylinder (3, 4, 5, 6 and 7).

    Abstract: Apparatus is disclosed for articulating and correcting the trajectory of a piston in a volumetric machine with a plurality of pistons in a plurality of corresponding curved cylinders. The apparatus includes a piston seal ring positioned in a plane inclined to a plane of rotation of the pistons, with the inclined plane being different for each of the pistons and an intersection point of the axis of rotation of the pistons and an axis of rotation of the cylinders, a position compensation element permitting movement of the selected piston tangential to an instantaneous trajectory of that piston, and a piston support in radial contact with that piston to compensate centrifugal forces acting on that piston.

The machine displaces volume by means of pistons that are connected to a driveshaft without oscillating connecting rods. Cylinders are disposed in a rotating cylinder block that rotates on an axis inclined to the axis of rotation of the pistons. A spherical member centers the driveshaft with respect to the cylinder block, and a biasing means urges the cylinder block against a bearing surface. Displacement may be varied by varying the angle of inclination of the two axes of rotation.

    Abstract: A radial type of fluid-pressure apparatus, such as a pump or motor, wherein a crankshaft is supported for rotation about its axis and has a crankpin radially spaced from its axis and connected with the inner end region of a piston which extends outwardly away from the crankshaft axis and which has an outer end region extending into a chamber of an outer housing structure which surrounds the crankshaft axis. This chamber communicates with a fluid passage. An inner circular housing structure is surrounded by the outer housing structure and surrounds the crankshaft while being formed with an opening through which the piston extends, this inner housing structure having a seat at its opening which surrounds the piston. The latter seat forms part of a sphere. The piston extends slidably through a sleeve which has an outer surface also forming part of the latter sphere and seated on this seat.
