  • Publication number: 20170026273
Abstract: A traffic switching method, a device, and a system where, a software-defined networking (SDN) controller acquires a first state of a target gateway, where the target gateway belongs to an SDN gateway group, the SDN gateway group is used to forward traffic that is transmitted between a first network node and a second network node, and multiple forwarding paths on which multiple gateways in the SDN gateway group are located form multiple equal-cost paths between the first network node and the second network node. The SDN controller sends an Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) entry to the target gateway according to the first state, and changes, of the multiple equal-cost paths, a metric value of a forwarding path on which the target gateway is located from an original value to a first value, where the first value is greater than the original value.

  • Patent number: 9554183
Abstract: Embodiments related to storing and utilizing information of a sink device for establishing communication. A source device retrieves the information of a previously connected sink device stored in the source device to reduce data exchanged during a handshaking operation. Information of the sink device not stored in the source device may be stored in the source device for future usage. The source device receives identification information of the sink device via a medium. The source device also searches for capabilities information associated with the identification information in the source device. In addition, the source device encodes the content for transmission to the sink device via the medium in a format compliant with capabilities of the sink device according to the capabilities information.

  • Patent number: 9282039
Abstract: An address resolution method uniformly processing ARP broadcast packets by an address server to avoid broadcasting in the network, so that the occupied bandwidth is reduced. The method also includes storing by a network device and terminal address correspondence information of local and remote terminals in communication with one another, which reduces the size of the MAC table in the data center network, reduces the load of the network device, and improves the processing capabilities of the network device, so that it is possible to deploy a large layer-2 network to thereby solve real-time relocation problems of a virtual machine.

  • Publication number: 20150288979
Abstract: Systems and methods may provide for a video encoder that reconstructs a video frame. A number of initial reconstructed macro block lines may be generated by encoding initial reconstructed macro block lines from a first buffer holding a current frame. The initial reconstructed macro block line may be placed in a FIFO buffer sized to hold the initial reconstructed macro block lines. An additional reconstructed macro block line can be generated by encoding the next line in the current frame using at least one reconstructed macro block line in the FIFO buffer. A re constructed macro block line pulled from the tail of the FIFO buffer maybe placed sequentially in a reference buffer. After all the number of lines in the current frame have been processed, the additional reconstructed macro block lines may be pushed onto the head of the FIFO buffer.

  • Publication number: 20150142866
Abstract: The application discloses a method and a system for information synchronization between cloud storage gateways and a cloud storage gateway, to resolve a problem that an address obtained by a cloud storage gateway is usually a dynamic address or even a private address, and it is difficult to perform direct communication and impossible to perform directory synchronization. A cloud storage gateway obtains, from a cloud message queue of a cloud service provider, a directory distributed by another cloud storage gateway; and therefore, as long as the cloud storage gateway can communicate with the cloud service provider, directory synchronization can be implemented without a need of direct communication between the cloud storage gateways. Therefore, even through an address obtained by the cloud storage gateway is a dynamic address or a private address, directory synchronization is not affected.
