  • Patent number: 10682638
Abstract: In some embodiments, a method may include forming a catalytic nanoarchitecture. The method may include heating a non-catalytic metal compound within a specified temperature range and atmosphere in the presence of a catalytic metal. In some embodiments, heating the non-catalytic metal may include heating within a hydrogen-containing atmosphere. The method may include transforming a first architecture of the non-catalytic metal to a second architecture. The second architecture may include openings in the second architecture. The method may include incorporating the catalytic metal into the openings in the second architecture such that the catalytic metal is integrated into the second architecture. In some embodiments, the method may include increasing a catalytic activity of the catalytic metal by integrating the catalytic metal into the second architecture.

  • Publication number: 20170018168
Abstract: A notification device for providing an auxiliary alarm. The notification device includes an auxiliary alarm device configured to provide sensory feedback. A registration module is included that is configured to listen for an available auxiliary alarm system. The registration module is also configured to register the notification device with the auxiliary alarm system without providing personally identifying information to the auxiliary alarm system. An auxiliary alarm receiving module is included that is configured to receive an auxiliary alarm code from the auxiliary alarm system. An auxiliary alarm activation module is coupled to the auxiliary alarm device and is configured to activate the auxiliary alarm device to provide an auxiliary alarm.

  • Publication number: 20150347700
Abstract: The disclosure provides for a system for correlating user behaviors with wellness outcomes. The system includes a wearable electronic device including a sensor subsystem. The sensor subsystem yields sensor output data spanning multiple days during which the wearable computing device is continuously worn by the user. From the sensor output, behavior(s) and wellness outcome(s) of the user are determined, and a correlation is identified between one or more user behaviors and a wellness outcome. A message based on that correlation is presented on a display associated with the wearable electronic device.
