    Abstract: There is described herein methods and systems for generating a treatment plan for delivery of a radiation dose to a subject based on a plurality of radiation modalities, each radiation modality having a delivery element and an associated weight associated thereto. The treatment plan is constructed iteratively by considering the different radiation modalities and different delivery elements and selecting those that meet one or more goals regarding a target dose distribution.
