  • Publication number: 20170139048
Abstract: The invention relates to a method, implemented in a drone piloting device (16), of loading satellite ephemeris data, the drone (10) comprising a geolocation module, the method comprising a step of establishing a communication between the piloting device (16) and the drone (10) according to a given communication mode. The method further comprises the following steps implemented in the piloting device: loading ephemeris data (E26) from a remote server (32) connected to a communication network (30), and sending the loaded ephemeris data (E25) to said drone. The invention has also for object a method of loading satellite ephemeris data, implemented in a drone, for updating ephemeris data of a geolocation module.

  • Patent number: 6826946
Abstract: A forming machine according to the invention comprises at least one forming station having a punch and a die as tools and a device for setting the axial position of one of the two tools. The setting device has, as adjusting wedge, a rotary wedge disk which is rotatable about a rotation axis and bears with a bearing surface against a parent body. The rotary wedge disk is provided with an inclined plane on the other disk side. The setting device also comprises a pressure piece which is composed of a pressure part and a rotary part having an end face. The end face bears against the inclined plane in such a way that it is displaced relative to the rotary wedge disk eccentrically to the rotation axis when the rotary wedge disk is rotated, the axial distance between pressure piece and parent body changing in the process. Since the adjusting wedge is a rotary wedge disk, the bearing surface rotates on the parent body and is not displaced longitudinally during an adjustment.

Abstract: A forming machine according to the invention comprises at least one forming station having a punch and a die as tools and a device for setting the axial position of one of the two tools. The setting device has, as adjusting wedge, a rotary wedge disk (1) which is rotatable about a rotation axis and bears with a bearing surface (11) against a parent body (2). The rotary wedge disk (1) is provided with an inclined plane (12) on the other disk side. The setting device also comprises a pressure piece (3) which is composed of a pressure part (32) and a rotary part (30) having an end face (31). The end face (31) bears against the inclined plane (12) in such a way that it is displaced relative to the rotary wedge disk (1) eccentrically to the rotation axis when the rotary wedge disk (1) is rotated, the axial distance between pressure piece (3) and parent body (2) changing in the process.

  • Patent number: 5117108
Abstract: In a laser microprobe interface for a mass spectrometer, such as a Fourier transform mass spectrometer, the focusing optical system (1) and the viewing optical system (4) are arranged in the cell holder (5) of the spectrometer itself. The focusing optical system (1) can be moved by an adjustment means (2) so as to make allowance for the variation of the focal distance with the wavelength of the primary ionization laser beam (3) and is arranged at the center of the viewing optical system (4) of the achromatic inverted cassegrain type. The latter optical system provides perfect definition of the image and a high magnification together with a good depth of field and good laser focusing. The arrangement of the focusing optical system (1) at the center of the viewing optical system (4) also allows the focusing optical system (1) to be interchanged with other ionization means.

  • Patent number: 4935743
Abstract: Anti-jamming apparatus and method for a radar system having a main antenna utilizes a single electronic-scan auxiliary antenna having a plurality of radiating elements each coupled to appropriate phase shift means. The auxiliary antenna is successively sighted in directions of each of a plurality of jammers. First and second receiving chains respectively coupled to the main and auxiliary antennas supplies a processor with components of the signals received by the antennas. The computer supplies control signals to control the sighting of the auxiliary antenna so that it radiates in the direction of each jammer maximum radiation values, the components of which are those of the field radiated by the main antenna in the direction of the sighted jammer. The processor also provides an output signal comprising a vectorial combination of the signals received by the main and auxiliary antennas. The auxiliary antenna is thus successively used as an auxiliary adjusting antenna, and then used as an anti-jamming antenna.

  • Patent number: 3979502
Abstract: A method of eliminating chloroacetylenes present in small quantities in hydrogen chloride gas. The method comprises passing hydrogen chloride contaminated with chloroacetylenes over active carbon at a temperature from 50.degree. to 250.degree.C. The method of the invention can plainly be applied to the treatment of hydrogen chloride discharged from works where monochloroacetic acid is prepared, prior to compression of the hydrogen chloride.
