    Abstract: A measurement device for regulating the filling level of a liquid-gas mixture via a inlet valve in a container, having at least one vertical liquid standpipe fixed to a outer wall of the container and fluidically connected to the interior of the container via horizontal tube-shaped hydraulic devices. A first lower hydraulic device is disposed near the container base so the standpipe level changes with the container. A second hydraulic device is provided above the desired filling level so that the standpipe level changes when a selectable desired filling level value is exceeded. The device has a display and regulator that is in controlled connection to the liquid inlet valve. The liquid standpipe has a third tube-shaped hydraulic device that protrudes horizontally into the container and is arranged in the container at or below the desired filling level. The first lower hydraulic device is configured as a return.

    Abstract: With a method and a device for igniting and operating burners when gasifying a carbon-containing fuel using at least two gasification burners, start of the pressure gasification with short start times is made possible, at high pressures, without prior inertization of the gas space, while avoiding continuous fuel gas consumption in the pilot burner or ignition burner and also protecting stationary ignition burners against contamination by configuring one gasification burner as a start-up burner, which is ignited by at least one pilot burner using an electrical ignition device. A combustible gas mixture including a fuel gas and oxygen-containing gas is ignited by the pilot burner, in the start-up burner. After ignition of the start-up burner, at least one further gasification burner is ignited by this burner. The start-up burner is operated further as one of the gasification burners of the carbon-containing fuel via a change in medium.

    Abstract: Flue dust precipitated from the compressed gas from a fluidized-bed combustion chamber is conveyed by flue gas to an air-lock system while simultaneously being cooled to above the water and acid dew point of the flue gas. As it enters the air-lock system, the dust is separated from the flue gas and, once it has left the air-lock system, the dust is conveyed by air while simultaneously being cooled to a final temperature at which it can be removed.
