    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for determining a transmit power based on clear channel assessment (CCA) thresholds. A station (STA) associated with a first Basic Service Set (BSS) may receive, from an access point (AP) associated with the first BSS, a clear channel assessment (CCA) value for a group of STAs associated with a second BSS. The CCA value may indicate a minimum CCA threshold for a packet received from the second BSS. The STA may then determine, based on the CCA value, a STA specific CCA parameter and a target CCA parameter. The target CCA parameter may be greater than or equal to the STA specific CCA parameter. Based on the STA specific CCA parameter and the target CCA parameter, the STA may determine a target transmit power control (TPC) parameter of the STA, wherein the sum of target TPC parameter and target CCA parameter is constant.

    Abstract: A single input single output (SISO) data transmission may solicit a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) rank adaptation information. A number of transmit chain for transmission may be determined, e.g., by an access point (AP). A physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) may be transmitted, e.g., to a station (STA). The PPDU may include data and training (TRN) sequences. The number of TRN sequences may be equal to the number of transmit chains. The PPDU may include information associated with the determined number of transmit chains for transmission. Feedback may be received, e.g., from the STA. The feedback may include information that identifies a transmit chain associated with the transmitted TRN sequences and/or a channel measurement associated with the identified transmit chain. A subsequent PPDU may be transmitted based on the channel measurement associated with the identified transmit chain from the received feedback.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for transmit diversity in an uplink control channel. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may perform a Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) precoding operation on a data symbol sequence segment to generate a DFT precoded segment. The WTRU may then perform a Space Frequency Block Coding (SFBC) operation on the DFT precoded segment to generate a SFBC processed segment. The data symbols of the DFT precoded segment may be reordered in the SFBC processed segment. The WTRU may map the DFT precoded segment to a first set of contiguous subcarriers and the SFBC processed segment to a second set of contiguous subcarriers. The WTRU may then transmit a first DFT spread Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (DFT-s-OFDM) signal on the first set of contiguous subcarriers via a first antenna port and a second DFT-s-OFDM signal on the second set of contiguous subcarriers via a second antenna port.

The HARQ ACK/NACK may comprise one bit or two bits of information, and the WTRU may use a cyclic shift of the sequence to transmit the HARQ ACK/NACK. The WTRU may use different cyclic shifts of the sequence to transmit different HARQ ACK/NACK values and the cyclic shifts may be separated from each other in a manner to facilitate the transmissions. The representative beam may be one of the beams in the group or represents an average of the beams in the group. Alternatively, the representative beam may be a beam that has a maximum measurement value compared to other beams in the group. The group-based report may include a reference signal received power (RSRP) for the representative beam and a differential RSRP for each additional beam in the beam group.

A transmitter may parse an encoded bit stream into a plurality of spatial streams. The transmitter may determine an allocation of encoded bits of the plurality of spatial streams to a plurality of interleavers. The transmitter may allocate the encoded bits to the plurality of interleavers based on the determined allocation. The allocation of the encoded bits may be determined based on one or more of channel related feedback, an RU configuration associated with the transmission, a quality of service (QoS), and/or traffic priorities. The transmitter may interleave the encoded bits using the plurality of interleavers. The transmitter may combine the interleaved encoded bits from the plurality of interleavers into a sequenced bit stream.

In an exemplary embodiment, a wake up frame (WUF) includes fields indicating a wake-up purpose, wake-up scheduling, and a wake-up TX/RX parameter. The wake-up purpose field identifies one of a plurality of predetermined purposes. A STA receives the wake-up frame and determines whether the frame is intended for that STA. If so, the STA responsively performs an action in accordance with the purpose indicated in the purpose field.
