  • Patent number: 10596095
Abstract: A method for moisturizing skin using P-113 peptide, which comprises administering to the skin of a subject a composition containing a P-113 peptide, wherein the P-113 peptide comprises the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1. P-113 peptide is hypoallergenic and non-cytotoxic, which means it does not cause harms or allergies to the skin and can be used as an ingredient of cosmetic products. The P-113 peptide fragment has moisture absorption and moisture retention effects, therefore it can be formulated with other ingredients of moisturizing cosmetic products, enhancing the moisturizing effect of other moisturizing ingredients. In addition, the P-113 peptide fragment is capable of inhibiting the production of MMP-9 and thus decreases collagen degradation, thereby achieving the anti-wrinkle and anti-aging effects. The cosmetic disclosed herein comprises not only the peptide, but also active ingredients of cosmetic products and essence liquid formulations.

  • Publication number: 20200005200
Abstract: Listings and reviews of listings can be processed to identify descriptive attributes for locations associated with the listings. To do this, a corpus of words is generated for various locations based on listings in the locations and reviews of those listings. An expected frequency, and per-location frequency for each word is determined. These numbers are in turn used to determine a number of high frequency listing locations, and a number of below expected frequency listing locations for each word. Based on a comparison of the number of high frequency listing locations and the number of below expected frequency listing locations of a word with an attribute reference number, the word can be identified either as an attribute that is likely descriptive of the location, or not.

  • Patent number: 10473105
Abstract: An impeller and rotor structure for a magnetically levitated pump define a smooth primary flow path and U-shaped secondary flow path, which extends around an annular magnetic rotor. The u-shaped secondary flow path is defined by a large outer side gap along an outer surface of the rotor, a large bottom gap along a bottom surface of the rotor and a large inner gap along an inner surface of the rotor. Shroudless impeller blades are purely radial and overhung from a thin peripheral ring attached to the annular magnetic rotor. A center post having a low aspect ratio extends through the annular rotor. The low aspect ratio is configured to prevent flow in the primary flow path from colliding directly with flow in the secondary flow path at the inner radial gap.

  • Patent number: 10359242
Abstract: A flow control system in an inlet duct to a heat exchanger includes a door having a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The first end rotates about an axis and the second end moves between an open position and a closed position to respectively allow and prevent flow into the heat exchanger. The second end has a rounded configuration. A plurality of mixing elements are downstream of the door. At least one mixing element has a base portion and a distal portion, and the base portion has a base width and the distal portion has a distal width. The base width is wider that the distal width.
