  • Patent number: 8349057
Abstract: Air filters comprising thin-walled textile filter bodies have to be cleaned periodically. According to a method known to this purpose, the filtered material is loosened using pressure pulses in a flushing air flow. According to the invention, for generating the pressure pulses a plurality of small, quick-acting valves are in each case briefly opened, the opening moments being adapted to one another in such a way that partial pulses released thereby arrive simultaneously at the inlet of a flushing line common thereto.

Date of Patent: January 8, 2013
    Assignee: Balcke-Durr GmbH

  • Patent number: 6604694
Abstract: A Coanda injector is provided, and has an inlet for a medium that is to be suctioned in. A pre-chamber having at least one inlet for receiving pressurized medium for a compressed gas line is provided, and has a nozzle slot that is preferably annular in shape. An outlet is also provided for the medium to be suctioned in and for the pressurized medium. The inlet for medium to be suctioned in, and the at least one inlet of the pre-chamber, are essentially disposed in the same plane, so that the Coanda injector can be connected directly to a compressed gas line via the at least one inlet of the pre-chamber.

  • Patent number: 6551368
Abstract: A dust filter has a vertically oriented filter housing and a partition dividing the filter housing into a lower dust-contaminated air chamber and an upper clean air chamber. The partition has a plurality of openings. Self-supporting filter tubes are suspended from the openings and extend into the lower dust-contaminated chamber, wherein the self-supporting filter tubes are open upwardly in a direction toward the clean air chamber. Several self-supporting filter tubes are combined to a filter bundle, respectively, wherein a spacing between the self-supporting filter tubes of each filter bundle is smaller than a spacing of the filter bundles relative to one another. A device for cleaning off dust and product particles adhering to outer surfaces of the self-supporting filter tubes is provided.

  • Patent number: 4475934
Abstract: A pressure gas connection of a reverse-flow device with the pressure gas feed conduit (2) in dust-laden gas filters is disclosed. The reverse-flow device is formed as a two-stage injector. In dust-laden gas filters which are provided with such a reverse-flow device, each individual injector (1) is connected in a manner which is as gas-tight as possible to the pressure gas feed conduit (2). In order to create a rapidly and easily mountable pressure gas connection for injectors (1) which does not require any additional seals, the connecting sockets (1a) of the injectors (1) of the first stage are inserted over the pressure-gas feed conduit (2) alternating with spacer sleeves (3). A stationary sleeve (4) is inserted over one end of the pressure gas feed conduit (2) and a movable end sleeve (5) is inserted over the other end of the pressure gas feed conduit (2).

  • Patent number: 4293321
Abstract: In a fastening device for the dust-tight fastening of filter bags in a separation plate between crude gas and purified gas chambers in dust-laden gas filters, an elastic nipple, formed as a slit ring, is inserted into the open end of each filter bag.In order to produce the radially acting fastening and sealing force, a clamping ring (6) is swingably supported in the nipple (5), said ring being provided with flats (6a) on two sides which are opposite each other. On each side of the slit in the nipple (5) two protrusions (5b) are provided between which the clamping ring (6) is locked in installed condition. In unlocked upward swung condition upon the installing or removal of the nipple (5), the clamping ring (6) can be used as handle, either without or with attached filter supporting basket (5c).
