Abstract: An information processing apparatus for providing position information of a transmission device that sends out a signal including identification information of the transmission device, includes a processor, in communication with a memory, executing a process including storing in one or more storages an identification information of the transmission device in association with an attribute information, a threshold corresponding to the attribute information for each one of the attribute information, and the position information of the transmission device in association with the identification information of the transmission device, correcting the position information using the stored attribute information or the threshold stored in the one or more storages, and displaying on a display the corrected position information.
