    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a tuner can be switched between a full-segment receiving state and a one-segment receiving state, and outputs a program signal of a channel received. A signal processor decodes the program signal and outputs a video signal. A power supply circuit switches a power supply state between a first power supply state using a commercial AC power supply and a second power supply state using a battery, and supplies power to the tuner and the signal processor. A control block controls the power supply circuit in response to an operation signal, thereby switching the power supply state to the first power supply state and switching the tuner from the full-segment receiving state to the one-segment receiving state.

The generating elements are simultaneously driven and sequentially shifted in an array direction, and the converging device converging the ultrasonic beams in a direction perpendicular to the array direction.
