  • Publication number: 20250038558
Abstract: A power source apparatus includes: an auxiliary power source; and a control circuit configured to control charging and discharging of the auxiliary power source. The control circuit is configured to, after completion of the initial check, charge the auxiliary power source after waiting for traveling preparation of the vehicle to be completed. The control circuit is configured to, after the completion of the initial check, charge the auxiliary power source when both of a first condition and a second condition are satisfied even before the completion of the traveling preparation of the vehicle. The first condition is a condition in which an amount of elapsed time from when the initial check is completed is equal to or more than a time threshold. The second condition is a condition in which voltage across the auxiliary power source is less than a voltage threshold.

  • Publication number: 20240429708
Abstract: A control circuit of a power supply device forms a state in which an auxiliary power supply is connected via a charge circuit to a main power supply when a power switch provided on a power feeding path is turned on. The control circuit calculates an internal resistance of the auxiliary power supply based on a charging current. The control circuit forms a state in which the power supply device is disconnected from the main power supply and a power feeding target, and only the auxiliary power supply and a boost circuit are connected to each other when the power switch is turned off. The control circuit disconnects the auxiliary power supply from the boost circuit when a terminal voltage of the auxiliary power supply is less than a stop determination threshold value.

  • Patent number: 11139679
Abstract: An auxiliary power source device includes a main power source-side path, an auxiliary power source-side path, a power source control circuit, an analog determination circuit that is provided separately from the power source control circuit, and a power source switching circuit. The power source control circuit controls switching between a conduction state and an interruption state on the main power source-side path and the auxiliary power source-side path. The analog determination circuit determines an occurrence of abnormality in the main power source and generates a switching signal when the occurrence of the abnormality in the main power source is determined. The power source switching circuit switches a power source for supplying power to a power supply target, from the main power source to the auxiliary power source.

  • Patent number: 11012010
Abstract: An auxiliary power supply device includes a parasitic diode forming a parallel circuit together with a second switching element and connected in a forward direction to a main power supply, and a parasitic diode forming a parallel circuit together with a fourth switching element and connected in a reverse direction to an auxiliary power supply. When a state parameter indicates that a reaction force that interferes with operation of an assist motor is applied, an electronic control unit turns ON a first switching element, turns OFF the second switching element, turns ON a third switching element, and turns OFF the fourth switching element. A regenerative current from the assist motor flows to the auxiliary power supply via an inverter, the third switching element, and the parasitic diode.
