    Abstract: This invention relates to an interior panel unit having a structure in which a plurality of rectangular floor base members to be installed on a foundation floor of a room are connected to each other by base joint members. A plurality of fundamental support members having the same height and a plurality of connecting support members having the same height as that of the fundamental support members are located on each floor base member. Each floor panel member supported by the fundamental support members and the connecting support members is arranged to assure a predetermined space with the corresponding floor base member. Cables and various types of equipment which constitute an office-automation system are mounted in the space defined by the floor panel member and the floor base member. The space defined by the floor panel member and the floor base member is partitioned by vertical and horizontal separator members. The cables and various types of equipment are appropriately arranged in the partitioned space.

    Abstract: A thermal printer wherein a sheet of recording paper is interposed between two drums provided on axially opposite sides of a shaft of a platen roll facing a line-type thermal head and an endless belt mounted on outer peripheries of the drum. One way clutches provided on a shaft of the drum will cause the paper to rotate together with the drums during recording and the recording paper is driven by the endless belt during paper feed and delivery operations to slide relative to the drums. The sheet of paper is fed to a lower portion of an open portion of the drums and is removed from an upper portion of the open portion of the drums so that the feed and delivery of the sheet of paper can be effected upon rotation of the drums in one direction, and the printing operation is started after a detection of a trailing end of the sheet of paper so that the printing operation can be reformed regardless of the length of the sheet of paper immediately after the feed of the sheet of paper.

    Abstract: A microwave semiconductor switch wherein first and second field effect transistors and first, second and third input/output microstrip lines are integrally formed on a semiconductor substrate. The first field effect transistor is connected in series between the second input/output line and a junction point of the first, second and third input/output lines at a position adjacent to the junction point. The second field effect transistor is connected at a second position spaced approximately a quarter of the wavelength from the junction point between the second position and the ground. The drain electrodes and source electrodes of the first and second transistors are placed at the same potential. The transmission paths for microwaves are switched by varying a bias voltage applied to the gate electrodes of the field effect transistors.

    Abstract: An interior panel according to the present invention comprises a plurality of support units fixedly arranged on a floor slab, a panel member supported by the support units so as to be located over the slab surface at a predetermined distance therefrom, and a cable separator supported by the support units and dividing the space between the panel member and the slab surface into upper and lower space sections. The cable separator is in the form of a plate with a stepped surface portion at the peripheral edge portion thereof, and can be supported on the support units either in a first position in which the stepped portion faces upward or in a second position in which the stepped portion faces downward. Cables and electric devices in a signal transmission system are arranged in the upper space section defined by the cable separator, and power supply-system cables and devices in the lower space section.

The corrugated conical horn has the inside diameter at its reduced diameter end which is not less than 2.6.lambda..sub.o, where .lambda..sub.o designates a wavelength at which the depth of the corrugated grooves ranges from three quarters of the wavelength and one complete wavelength.
