The lift apparatus also includes a lift control mechanism operable to actuate the lift mechanism between the collapsed and extended states to elevate the tray from proximate the ground level to different elevations above the ground level to enable a person without bending to replace and remove the tray on and from the lift mechanism and to accommodate at the different elevations pets of different sizes. The lift apparatus further includes an outer accordion tubular casing enclosing the lift mechanism and vertically moved between recoiled and extended states by actuation of the lift mechanism between the collapsed and extended states.
