    Abstract: Provided are a transformer and a method for manufacturing a transformer. The transformer includes a magnetic core including: a top substrate and a bottom substrate arranged opposite to each other, and a plurality of winding posts located therebetween; and a winding including a primary side winding wrapped around the plurality of winding posts and a secondary side winding. The primary side winding includes two sub-windings connected in parallel, each including: a main turn including respective at least one turn wrapped on at least two winding posts, respectively, and the at least two winding posts have a single magnetic flux direction; and an additional turn including at least one turn wrapped on at least one additional winding post on which a corresponding main turn of the other sub-winding wraps, and the additional turn has a magnetic flux direction opposite to the single magnetic flux direction.

A lookup table is prestored in the adaptive module; when aging monitoring is performed on a voltage-controlled oscillator in an integrated circuit, the adaptive module uses the cuckoo algorithm to determines the optimal working voltage of the currently monitored voltage-controlled oscillator, and the control module accordingly changes the input voltage of the voltage-controlled oscillator of the integrated circuit.

The method is conducted using the device. The device and the method realize the gas-water-sand separation and measurement of produced gas-water-sand mixture during a simulative exploitation process, allowing for a direct inspection on a sand production and sand control.

    Abstract: A nonlinear closed-loop control combined with an integral time-delay feedback control is disclosed to adjust a speed ratio of an infinitely variable transmission (IVT) system. A speed ratio control for an IVT system involves a forward speed controller and a crank length controller for different speed ranges. The time-delay control is designed to reduce speed fluctuations of the output speed of an IVT with an accurate speed ratio. The speed ratio of an IVT with the disclosed control strategy can achieve an excellent tracking response for the desired constant output speed and reduce speed fluctuations of the output speed of an IVT by the time-delay feedback control.

The foveated display system includes a peripheral display module disposed in series with a foveal display module. The peripheral display module is configured to generate low-resolution, large field of view imagery for a user's peripheral vision. The foveal display module is configured to perform foveated rendering in which high-resolution imagery is focused towards a foveal region of the user's eye gaze. The peripheral display module may include a diffuser that is disposed within a pancake lens, which is a relatively compact design. The foveal display module may include a Pancharatnam-Berry Phase grating stack that increases the steering range of a beam-steering device such that a virtual image can be steered to cover an entire field of view visible to the user's eye.
