Abstract: A storage expansion system includes an expansion apparatus and a serial advanced technology attachment dual in-line memory module (SATA DIMM) device. A memory slot, a SATA port, a SATA signal expansion member, and a voltage converter are arranged on the expansion apparatus. The memory slot includes first power pins, first ground pins, and first signal pins connected to the SATA signal expansion member. A first edge connector is arranged on a side of the expansion apparatus. The first edge connector includes second power pins and second ground pins. The first and second power pins are connected to the voltage converter. A second edge connector is arranged on a bottom side of the SATA DIMM device. The second edge connector includes third power pins connected to a control chip and storage chips, third ground pins, and second signal pins connected to the control chip.

Abstract: A rail device includes an inner rail, a middle rail slidably mounted to the inner rail, and an outer rail slidably mounted to the middle rail. The inner rail forms a first protrusion. The middle rail forms a first locking member and a driving member at a first end. The outer rail forms a second locking member and a pushing member. When the first locking member latches with the first protrusion, and the second locking member latches with the second protrusion, the rail device has a first length. When the first locking member latches with the first protrusion, and the pushing member latches with the driving member, the rail device has a second length.

Abstract: A computer case includes a backplane, a trigger switch, a first connector, a motherboard, a second connector on the motherboard, and a first cable. The trigger switch is used to detect whether a cover of the computer case is open or closed and outputs different signals accordingly. The first cable transmits the different signals from the trigger switch to the motherboard.

Abstract: A computer includes a number of hard disk drives (HDDs), a number of Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) connectors correspondingly connected to the HDDs, and a number of jumpers. Each SATA connector includes a power supply pin, a spin-up pin, a ground pin, and a pin base with first to third pins. The first to the third pins are respectively connected to the power supply pin, the spin-up pin, and the ground pin. The second pin of each SATA connector is connected to either the first pin or the third pin by a corresponding jumper, thereby the corresponding HDD starts up with the computer or starts up at a preset time after the computer has started up.
