  • Patent number: 7771112
Abstract: Wrist-borne structures (such as watches) include: (a) a wrist band assembly defining a recess and a first aperture; (b) an electronic or mechanical device assembly having a first control element positioned in the recess so as to be accessible at the first aperture; and (c) a first user interaction element engaged with the first control element via the first aperture. The first user interaction element may be at least partially located external to the recess and at least partially on an opposite side of the recess from the first control element. Methods for assembling watches or other wrist-borne structures like those described above also are described.

  • Patent number: 6256193
Abstract: A positioning device for supporting a portable computer that includes a base member for placing on a horizontal surface, a support plate for supporting the portable computer at an inclined position relative to the base member, a hinge that rotatably connects the base member to the support plate so that the support plate can be rotated between multiple angular positions relative to the base member, and a lock mechanism for selectively fixing the angular position between the base member and the support plate.

  • Patent number: 4586387
Abstract: A flight test aid comprising means to measure force that is applied by a pilot to the controls (7) of an aircraft to adjust the control surfaces while manoeuvering the aircraft which utilizes a plurality of sensors (5-6) supported in the interface between the control member (7) and the part of the pilot (1) operating the control and means (9) to record the force from the sensors (5-6) preferably through differencingmeans (21) to cancel pressure applied equally to the sensors (5-6). A typical example is a glove (1) with finger and palm sensors (5-6) connected to indicator means (9) preferably through a differencer (21).
