  • Patent number: 7281480
Abstract: A frictionally reduced hull is provided for a marine vessel, the hull having a water line, a bow end and an aft end. The hull has a first opening below the water line and a second opening below the water line. The first opening is closer than the second opening to the bow end. A first conduit extends from the first opening to the second opening, whereby water flows into the conduit through the first opening and passes through the conduit from the first opening towards the second opening, exiting at the second opening. A second conduit extends into the first conduit between the first opening and the second opening, fluid being drawn into the first conduit via the second conduit and exiting at the second opening.

  • Patent number: 6598806
Abstract: A windshield washing apparatus for marine craft includes a reservoir container having a bracket pivotally connected thereto. The bracket can be connected to vertical, horizontal or sloping surfaces on the marine craft while the container remains level. There is a pump mounted on the reservoir. A filler fitting has a connector for mounting the fitting on the surface of the marine craft remote from the reservoir. A first conduit connects the reservoir to the filler fitting. The apparatus includes a spray nozzle and a second conduit for connecting the pump to the spray nozzle. Preferably the reservoir has positions thereon for a plurality of pumps.

  • Patent number: 5417629
Abstract: A bicycle stand includes a base and a pair of spaced-apart braces, each having a first end connected to the base and a second end. There is a pair of mounting members, each having a female threaded aperture which can threadedly receive a threaded outer portion of a bicycle axle. The second ends of the braces are pivotally connected to the mounting members. For example, the mounting members may be cylinders, the female threaded apertures extending axially inward from first ends thereof. Each of the braces has an aperture near the second end. The cylinders extend rotatably through the apertures. The base may have devices for mounting the stand on a roof rack of a vehicle including apertures in the base and tubular members having pins releasably engaging the apertures.
