  • Publication number: 20230279182
Abstract: The present disclosure describes methods of polyimide synthesis and polyimides made therefore. The method includes placing a tetracarboxylic compound and a solvent in a reaction vessel and adding a first amount of a diamine. The first amount of the diamine is not more than 99.5 mol % of the tetracarboxylic compound inside the reaction vessel. The method can include agitating the mixture and determining a viscosity of the mixture. The method can further include adding a second amount of the diamine. The last steps can be repeated until the viscosity increases to a target value. The target viscosity can be correlated to a peak weight-averaged molecular weight of the polyimide.

  • Publication number: 20230279646
Abstract: In some implementations, the EMV uses a calibration to inform autonomous control over the EMV. To calibrate an EMV, the system first selects a calibration action comprising a control signal for actuating a control surface of the EMV. Then, using a calibration model comprising a machine learning model trained based on one or more previous calibration actions taken by the EMV, the system predicts a response of the control surface to the control signal of the calibration action. After the EMV executes the control signal to perform the calibration action, the EMV system monitors the actual response of the control signal and uses that to update the calibration model based on a comparison between the predicted and monitored states of the control surface.

  • Publication number: 20230284455
Abstract: The memory bit-cell formed using the ferroelectric capacitor results in a taller and narrower bit-cell compared to traditional memory bit-cells. As such, more bit-cells can be packed in a die resulting in a higher density memory that can operate at lower voltages than traditional memories while providing the much sought after non-volatility behavior. The pillar capacitor includes a plug that assists in fabricating a narrow pillar.

Abstract: Expandable devices for occluding bifurcation aneurysms are disclosed herein. Several of the embodiments are directed towards an expandable device comprising a mesh configured to be deployed at a treatment site including blood vessel bifurcation of a human patient so that the mesh extends across a neck of an aneurysm and prevents or limits blood flow through the mesh and into the aneurysm. The mesh can comprise one or more circumferentially discontinuous portions so that, when the device is deployed at the treatment site, the device does not substantially impede flow from a parent blood vessel to two or more branching blood vessels. Systems and methods for delivering an expandable device of the present technology are also disclosed herein.

  • Patent number: 11747441
Abstract: An electronic device may utilize various methods or systems to determine whether the electronic device is indoors or outdoors. The electronic device transmits wireless signals (e.g., radio detection and ranging (RADAR) signals). The electronic device receives reflections of the wireless signals. Using these received reflections of the wireless signals, the electronic device determines whether a power amplitude of the reflections is greater than or equal to a threshold value. In response to a determination that the power amplitude is not greater than or equal to the threshold value, the electronic device operates in an outdoor mode or an indoor mode.

  • Patent number: 11750725
Abstract: The techniques described herein relate to methods, apparatus, and computer readable media configured to determine a current data transmission sequence number for a next packet in a communication session with a remote computing device. An interruption in the communication session is detected. Checkpointed data for the communication session is determined that is indicative of a previous sequence number used for a previous packet sent to the remote computing device. A resolution procedure is performed to determine the current data transmission sequence number for the next packet in the communication session, including determining an estimated next sequence number for transmitting data in the communication session based on the checkpointed data, transmitting a first packet to the remote computing device, receiving a second packet from the remote computing device that has an associated sequence number, and determining the current sequence number for the next packet in the communication session.

  • Patent number: 11745755
Abstract: A vehicular driving assist system includes an in-cabin camera disposed at an interior rearview mirror assembly in an interior cabin of a vehicle and viewing at least a steering wheel of the vehicle and capturing image data. An electronic control unit (ECU) includes an image processor for processing image data captured by the in-cabin camera to detect presence of one or both hands of a driver of the vehicle at the steering wheel. The vehicular driving assist system, responsive to determining, via processing at the ECU of image data captured by the in-cabin camera, that at least one hand of the driver is not on the steering wheel when the vehicle is at or approaching a hazardous condition, generates an alert to the driver of the vehicle.
