Abstract: A system, and method for use thereof, for image manipulation. The system may generate an original image in a three dimensional coordinate system. A sensing system may sense a user interaction with the image. The sensed user interaction may be correlated with the three dimensional coordinate system. The correlated user interaction may be used to project an updated image, where the updated image may be a distorted version of the original image. The image distortion may be in the form of a twisting, bending, cutting, displacement, or squeezing. The system may be used for interconnecting or communicating between two or more components connected to an interconnection medium (e.g., a bus) within a single computer or digital data processing system.

  • Publication number: 20090109176
Abstract: A system and corresponding method for providing a 3-dimensional (3-D) user interface to display images in a 3-D coordinate system. The 3-D interface generates and displays one type of holographic keyboard in response to a user's desired selection. The holographic keyboard provides versatility and ergonomic benefits to the user. Sensors are configured to sense user interaction within the 3-D coordinate system, so that a processor may receive user interaction information from the sensors. The sensors are able to provide information to the processor that enables the processor to correlate user interaction with images in the 3-D coordinate system. The system may be used for interconnecting or communicating between two or more components connected to an interconnection medium (e.g., a bus) within a single computer or digital data processing system.

  • Publication number: 20090113348
Abstract: A system and corresponding method for providing a 3-dimensional (3-D) user interface displays images in a 3-D coordinate system. The method includes receiving user data input information. The method also compares the user data input information to frequently used terms and generates priority information based on the comparison. The generated priority information is displayed as holographic images in a 3-D coordinate system. Sensors are configured to sense user interaction within the 3-D coordinate system, so that a processor may receive user interaction information including the selected priority information from the sensors. The sensors are able to provide information to the processor that enables the processor to correlate user interaction with images in the 3-D coordinate system. The system may be used for interconnecting or communicating between two or more components connected to an interconnection medium (e.g., a bus) within a single computer or digital data processing system.

  • Publication number: 20090102603
Abstract: A system, and method for use thereof, for authentication. The system may generate an image in a three dimensional coordinate system, for example a three dimensional lock. A sensing system may sense a user interaction with the image. The user interaction may include a user selecting a sequence, or code, of alphanumeric characters. The sensed user interaction may be correlated with the three dimensional coordinate system. The correlated user interaction may be compared with a predetermined authentication pattern. The predetermined authentication pattern may be a preset alphanumeric sequence indicating an allowed access. The system may also provide a user authentication if a match exists between the correlated user interaction and the predetermined authentication pattern. The system may be used for interconnecting or communicating between two or more components connected to an interconnection medium (e.g., a bus) within a single computer or digital data processing system.

  • Publication number: 20090100013
Abstract: As media on the Internet grows, existing systems do not leverage the value of using online digital data media, such as a movie clip or song, for creating media presentations. In contrast, a system of the present invention compiles a media presentation for transferring data between one or more computers by requesting one or more digital data media, such as a video clip. After requesting the one or more digital data media, the system, if applicable, obtains authorization, such as a license, to use the one or more digital data media. Further, the system allows a user to edit the requested digital data media and any existing digital data media. After editing the digital data media, the system compiles the media to make a media presentation. In this way, the present invention leverages the use of digital data media to create a media presentation by employing the data or instructions before or after transferring.

  • Publication number: 20090094147
Abstract: Multi-computer data transfer and processing supports electronic content clearance and licensing. Data is transferred by external communication between separate computers which themselves are distinguishable processing entities, such as a licensor station, a licensee station and a licensing system station accessible by a tiered access web site. Licensors submit content, and demonstrative content samples, searchable by licensees. Licenses, which may be generated and delivered electronically, may be granted or denied according to predetermined parameters or analysis of licensing requests. The system may be fee-based, advertising-based, membership fee-based, or may charge a royalty per transaction, and may collect and distribute licensing fees. License progress may be tracked. Licensed content may be delivered and tracked online, and confirmed by licensees by accountings.

  • Publication number: 20090076790
Abstract: The present invention relates to the creation of a data processing and transferring in a multi computer environment for reporting, monitoring, and predicting the supply, demand, and generation of alternative energy on a global scale. The system is configured to collect past and present alternative energy generation and distribution data from a variety of distributed sources. Example of such distributed data producing sources may include any of various power installations and systems, power sources, and billing systems. The data collected from these sources is stored and contemplated in a central database unit. Based on the data contemplated in the central database unit, the system, further, makes predictions of present and future generations, supply, and demand of alternative energy at local, regional, national, and global scales. Using these predictions, the system recommends changes in the existing energy generation resources, and/or proposes deployment of new energy generation resources.
