  • Patent number: 7988665
Abstract: An infusion fluid heating apparatus applicable to various types of infusion tube with different length dimensions includes a front-side tube fitting groove or a rear-side tube fitting groove formed on one of surfaces of a heating plate that receives an infusion tube in a first length between an inlet opening and an outlet opening open at the end surfaces of the heating plate. The groove also receives the infusion tube in a second length shorter than the first length. Therefore, the groove uses the second length for a relatively short infusion tube, capable of heating the tube appropriately and achieving high versatility. In addition, the tube fitting groove uses the first length for an infusion bag with a relatively long infusion tube, capable of heating the tube appropriately and increasing the maximum infusion fluid flow.

  • Patent number: 7715700
Abstract: An infusion fluid warming apparatus for warming an infusion fluid to a predetermined temperature prior to supply of the infusion fluid into a living body through an infusion fluid tube. The apparatus includes: (a) a tube holding device detachably holding the infusion tube; and (b) a heat accumulator member generating a latent heat in phase change thereof from liquid phase to solid phase. The heat accumulator member is disposed in the tube holding device, so as to warm the infusion fluid passing through the infusion fluid tube that is held by the tube holding device, by the latent heat generated in the phase change from the liquid phase to the solid phase. Also, disclosed is an infusion fluid warming method.

  • Patent number: 4293762
Abstract: A heating device comprises a casing to be disposed vertically, the casing including a circuit element receiving chamber and a heater receiving chamber having a front opening, a lid for at least covering the front opening of the heater receiving chamber, a heater situated in the heater receiving chamber, and electric circuit means situated in the circuit element receiving chamber. The heater includes a heater segment coextensive with and disposed in the front opening and an electric heating element attached to a back side of the heater segment. The heater segment has a tortuous groove on a front side thereof to receive therein a liquid feed pipe through which an instillation liquid to be heated flows. The groove includes at least upper and lower curves and extends from an upper portion of the heater segment to a lower portion thereof through the curves to keep the instillation liquid in the liquid feed pipe between the upper and lower curves for a period sufficient to heat the liquid.
